Hey everyone,

I did a search but couldn't find anything on Pink Floyd, so, here it is!

Now, I'm not a fan, although I imagine there are fans here!

What I was wondering is, my friend told me the other day about Pink Floyd's Wizard of Oz, the piece of music that goes with it instead of the soundtrack, or am I completly wrong and it's not Pink Floyd at all...?!!!  Well, whoever it is, I really want to see/hear it, and was wondering if anyone had heard of it...?!!

you're correct, Jenni! that piece is called Dark Side Of The Moon, and supposedly it syncs up with the Wizard Of Oz. i haven't tried it personally, so i don't know if it actually works.

i like some of Pink Floyd's stuff. there's a lot of mystery to their sound and to their members.

I swear there used to be a Pink Floyd thread. Oh well. If it's a problem, it'll be merged.

I've never heard that about DSOTM before.

It's a little hard to get it synched up the right way the first few times.  But it is amazing when you do.

I have the entire thing on my computer and if anyone has a fast connection and Soulseek, you can download it from me.

Also, everyone should listen to Pink Floyd's Piper at the Gates of Dawn.  It's their most amazing album ...  and anything Syd Barrett touches turns to gold.

I love Pink Floyd but I prefer their older music like Arnold Lane and See Emily Play.

I love Pink Floyd too! My favorite of their songs is "Learning to Fly", it gives me such a sense of freedom and calm.
