I'd probably be too scared to recommend anything to Elijah because he has such a vast musical knowledge he is bound to already know of anything I could recommend.

I sure hope Elijah has heard of the Scorpions, because for me, they are the best band to ever walk this Earth!!
I'd be disappointed if (being the music connoisseur he is) that he hasn't heard of the Scorps.

Thanks for all recommnedations, I'm checking them wight now. I love dandy warhols, Venus Hum and The shins already, but I keep checking;]
and songs I would reccomend to him
definitely something from Polish artists, as he probably doesn't know any of them. So:

Seriously don't know if I could recommend any songs to him he probably already has heard most types of music, wouldn't know what to tell him to listen too

As Mr Wood is such a music connoisseur already, I would also hesitate to make a recommendation, like many of you.
However, he may not know some of the bands from my country, Australia: Silverchair (especially their latest CDs Diorama and
Young Modern - brilliant stuff!)
The Presets (Electronica with a 'punk' twist)
Gyroscope (alternative rock)
Powderfinger (classic rock - beautiful lyrics)
Kate Miller Heidke (think Kate Bush)
But my fave band of the moment is probably The Shins and I'm sure he would have heard them.

He sure has! At the very end of this, it mentions that he attended a Shins concert in London 2007.
By the way, some of your music recommendations sound pretty interesting.

Maryd - thank you for responding positively to my recs. If you haven't done so, I suggest you check the bands out on Youtube.
And Mai_o_ya - Did you know Tina Arena was on a show called 'Young Talent Time' for many years as a child and teenager. She is around my own age and I remember being sooo jealous of her LOL.
