What are some good songs to listen to during the summer?
They don't have to be songs specifically about summer - just songs that have that carefree vibe.
Thanks!
Here's my list thus far:
School's Out - Alice Cooper
Surfin' USA - Beach Boys
Kokomo - Beach Boys
Summertime - Sublime
Another Girl - Beatles
Surrender - Cheap Trick
Santa Monica - Everclear
Good Day Sunshine - Beatles
Suck My Kiss - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Santeria - Sublime
Go Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac
Band on the Run - Paul McCartney & Wings
California - Phantom Planet
Norman Blake - Crambo
By the Way - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Have Some Fun - Sheryl Crow
Keep Fishin' - Weezer
Jammin' - Bob Marley
Soak up the Sun - Sheryl Crow
End of the World (as we know it) - REM
Leave the Biker - Crambo (cover)
I Want to Rock and Roll All Night - KISS
My Band - Eminem feat. D12
Stacy's Mom - Fountains of Wayne
Hey Ya - Outkast
Why Does the Sun Shine - They Might Be Giants
Someday - the Strokes
Sweetness - Jimmy Eat World

I agree with these ones!
Boys of summer - Don Henley..(as someone said before) I love this one, perfect for summer.
Don't you want me - Human League. Bizarre love triangle - New Order. Escape (the pina colada song) - Rupert Holmes. You're the sunshine of my life, Stevie Wonder. You got it, Roy Orbison. Something about you - Level 42. Kiss on my list, Hall & Oates. Every little thing she does is magic , Sting. Walking on the sun , Smash Mouth. Fly , Sugar Ray. Hey dude, Kula shaker. Pure shores, All Saints. Superstilyn - Groove Armada.
just can think of these at this moment.

But you say I must continue. You hold me close And I can feel your tears. And so I run. I run now, for freedom.

on summer I listen much more to the radio, and to Spanish-Latin music too. Like Ricky Martin. And also more dance music. Roy Orbison and Beach Boys are great choices.

I think) Guster - Amsterdam Guster - Red Oyster Cult Weezer - Island in the Sun Weezer - Dope Nose Weezer - Keep Fishin' Ben Folds - Rockin' the Suburbs Blink 182 - Down Blink 182 - I'm Feeling This Blink 182 - Easy Target 311 - Creatures (For a While) Junior Senior - Move your Feet Dave Matthews Band - Two Step O.A.R. - Hey Girl Jack Johnson - Bubbly Toes Counting Crows - Accidentally in Love The Strokes - Reptilia The Vines - Ride Cheap Trick - That 70s Show theme (perfect for me!! 'HELLO WISCONSIN') Lostprophets - Last Train Home Lostprophets - Last Summer Fastball - the Way Incubus - Drive Foo Fighters - Times Like These Foo Fighters - Low
I think that's enough for now. I'll add more later perhaps.
