May I make a Classical Rock thread?

Haha, yes.  Talk about classical rock.
So..what are you favorite classic rock bands? I like Queen, The oldschool AC/DC(High Voltage ), The Ramones (I don't know if that counts, but whatever), and U2.

Yes! Go us NY people! I love Billy Joel! My favorite song by him is probably "Anthony's Song". His old stuff rocks. 
And of course, The Beatles rock as well.

Oh gosh, how could I forget The Beatles?!
Frank Sinatra is great.  Everyone I know would be shocked to know that I like him, ha ha. I love "All The Way" and "My Funny Valentine."

Of course you may make a classic rock thread! Haha. This is my favourite genre of music - I really don't listen to much else. (Not that I'm really limited; there is so much variety in classic rock.)
My faves would have to be.... the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cheap Trick, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac.
You know, some people don't consider the Beatles classic rock because their music involved much more pop than their followers, but they influenced many of the bands that are definitely considered classic rock, like the Stones. Therefore I count them as the ultimate rock band.

classical rock is like what i live by.
simon and garfunkel, elton john, bon jovi, van halen, the beatles, queen, CCR... the list goes on and on.
for me, its a whole lot better than punk rock or whatever is in the mainstream right now.

S&G I don't really consider classic rock. Classic, definitely. They were one of the *best.*
