Haha, I tried that once. I got out of school early, nobody was home...I belted out some showtunes...Later that day, I go outside and my neighbor says to me, "Were you singing earlier? I was working on my lawnmower and I heard some pretty singing." Needless to say I was embarrassed. Ugh. Damn windows. I was on the second floor, too. Grrr.

I used to be first soprano when I was in the choir but I got bored with their music choice so I quit. I can cover a pretty wide range and in the choir I just find it easier to follow the soprano's rather than the alto's. But when I sing on my own I'm more of an alto, I sing a lot of soul and jazz and my voice is pretty husky so I can't sing solo soprano as my voice isn't clear enough. But I'm happy with my soul voice
