How could I forget: "Remember," by Josh Groban, from the Troy soundtrack. I want that played at my funeral.

I want The Carnival is Over (The Seekers) played at my funeral, but the Nick Cave version I think, as that's just more me. Not that I'll be able to hear it... unless...

That's why I want "Remember." It will be my last message to my loved ones.

"Telling Stories" by Tracy Chapman
And the piece of music that is played in ROTK when the eagles lift Frodo and Sam from the eruption of Mt Doom - I bawl like a baby every damn time!

I'm afraid I'm starting to feel, What I said I would not do, The last time really hurt me.
I'm scared to fall in love, Afraid to love so fast, 'Cause every time I fall in love, It seems too never last.
But every time your love is near, And every time I'm filled with fear, 'Cause every time I see your face, My heart does begins to race every time.
One half wants me to go, One half wants me to stay, I just get oh so confused.
I'm scared to fall in love, Afraid to love so fast, 'Cause every time I fall in love, It seems too never last.
But every time your love is near, And every time I'm filled with fear, 'Cause every time I see your face, My heart does begins to race every time.
I'm sacred to fall in love, Afraid to love so fast, 'Cause every time I fall in love, It seems too never last.
But every time your love is near, And every time I'm filled with fear, 'Cause every time I see your face, My heart does begins to race every time.
Every time your love is near, And every time I'm filled with fear, 'Cause every time I see your face, Could it be that this will be the one that lasts, The fear does start to erase every time, Oh could it be that this will be the one that lasts, For all my times, For all my times.
Every Time ~ Janet Jackson

Somebody killed little Susie The girl with the tune Who sings in the daytime at noon She was there screaming Beating her voice in her doom But nobody came to her soon... A fall down the stairs Her dress torn Oh the blood in her hair... A mystery so sullen in air She lie there so tenderly Fashioned so slenderly Lift her with care, Oh the blood in her hair... Everyone came to see The girl that now is dead So blind stare the eyes in her head... And suddenly a voice from the crowd said This girl lived in vain Her face bear such agony, such strain... But only the man from next door Knew Little Susie and how he cried As he reached down To close Susie's eyes... She lie there so tenderly Fashioned so slenderly Lift her with care Oh the blood in hair... It was all for God's sake For her singing the tune For someone to feel her despair To be damned to know hoping is dead and you're doomed Then to scream out And nobody's there... She knew no one cared... Father left home, poor mother died Leaving Susie alone Grandfather's soul too had flown... No one to care Just to love her How much can one bear Rejecting the needs in her prayers... Neglection can kill Like a knife in your soul Oh it will But Susie fought so hard to live... She lie there so tenderly Fashioned so slenderly Lift her with care So young and so fair

kate bush 'this woman's work'
Pray God you can cope. I stand outside this woman's work, This woman's world. Ooh, it's hard on the man, Now his part is over. Now starts the craft of the father.
I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left. I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left.
I should be crying, but I just can't let it show. I should be hoping, but I can't stop thinking
Of all the things I should've said, That I never said. All the things we should've done, That we never did. All the things I should've given, But I didn't.
Oh, darling, make it go, Make it go away.
Give me these moments back. Give them back to me. Give me that little kiss. Give me your hand.
(I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left. I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left.)
I should be crying, but I just can't let it show. I should be hoping, but I can't stop thinking
Of all the things we should've said, That were never said. All the things we should've done, That we never did. All the things that you needed from me. All the things that you wanted for me. All the things that I should've given, But I didn't.
Oh, darling, make it go away. Just make it go away now.

The Songs that always make me cry are Photograph by Nickleback and a song by Bonnie McKee called "Sensitive Subject Matter." If you haven't heard of Bonnie McKee, you're missing out! She's pretty mainstream, but her lyrics are incredibly deep. You should check her out!
Oh and Rod Stewart's 'Far Away.'

I may already have said this, but I always cry at 'City Of Blinding Lights' by U2. The lyrics are so beautiful.

One hand on this wily comet, Take a drink just to give me some weight, Some uber-man I'd make, I'm barely a vapor
They shone a chlorine light on, A host of individual sins, Let's carve my aging face off, Fetch us a knife, Start with my eyes, Down so the lines, Form a grimacing smile,
Close your eyes to corral a virtue, Is this fooling anyone else? Never worked so long and hard, To cement a failure,
We can blow on our thumbs and posture, But the lonely are such delicate things, The wind from a wasp could blow them, Into the sea, With stones on their feet, Lost to the light and the loving we need,
Still to come, The worst part and you know it, There is a numbness, In your heart and it's growing,
With burnt sage and a forest of bygones, I click my heels, Get the devils in line, A list of things I could lay the blame on, Might give me a way out,
But with each turn, It's this front and center, Like a dart stuck square in your eye, Every post you can hitch your faith on, Is a pie in the sky, Chock full of lies, A tool we devise, To make sinking stones fly,
And still to come, The worst part and you know it, There is a numbness, In your heart and it's growing.
