hi karin.
any site set up for avatars on comment boxes have mandatory settings. these are the specifics for a&f:
1. the image you choose must be a PG image. i don't think you would use anything naughty, would you.
2. the image can be no larger than 40x40 pixels.
you said you have to keep putting in your email address when commenting? i may be totally stupid myself, but does that have to do with cookies? you shouldn't have to put in that info every time you want to leave a comment. the first time should do it. whenever i've commented from a different computer, my image never shows even though i put in the info associated with the image.
if the image you want to use falls within the requirements, maybe your cookie settings have something to do with it.
i don't know if this was any help, but good luck.

No, it was just a figure of speech - the fields come already filled in with my data when I enter the boxie.
The rating of my gravatar is G, but when I uploaded it in [40 x 40 pixels], the site automatically converted it to an [80 x 80 pixels] one :

I know I can change the link of the gravatar in order to achieve a [40 x 40 pixels] one :
http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/51f8d458f3ca2641f720ad02511c2e30?s=40 , but I doubt this is of any use for me here.
So what are you saying ? Do you mean if i somehow manage that the original gravatar is [40 x 40 pixels] and its rating is G (it is), it should appear mysteriously / automatically whenever I post a comment in the Boxie, just because it recognises the e-mail address I've given ?
Or do I have to fill in the link of the gravatar in the comment field ?
At the moment, it isn't working, but that's probably because the site automatically converted my [40 x 40 pixels] image to a [80 x 80 pixels] avatar . . .

Love,
- Karin.

hmm... not sure why the site converts your image larger. you don't have to put in the link to your image. it should just appear anytime you leave a comment.
let me look into this and get back with you.
karin's problem is solved. YAA! just to clear up the issue if anyone else has this problem.
**your image is PG rated. **your image is no bigger than 40x40 pixels **your email address must be all lowercase letters
locking thread now.
