Rawr. It just did it again. I'm going to PM Jochen, because I read somewhere else on the board that a few other people are having the same trouble.

I know it's not my computer, either, because I've been on three different ones since it first started.

Spam flooding protection / missing IP information

Hey folks,

Well, the problem with the flood protection was that in the board's code there was an "outdated" snippet that wouldn't get the correct IP address from the login data (WHAT!!??) Anyway, I tried to fix it, and I looked up my profile and it shows the correct IP now.

If you still have problems, could you please first check that when you look at your profile (just click on your own username in the userlist at the very bottom of the forum's main page), and see if there is a valid entry for "IP:". If there isn't, please log out and then log in again. If the problems remains, please contact me again, OK?

I don't know if this has been addressed, but I was just trying to change my profile (email address and siggie) and it won't change. There's no error message or anything. When I click 'change profile', it just looks the same, and it's not supposed to...

Can someone help? Does it have anything to do with that IP thing?

Server moving, whatever it is, sounds tricky.

I've just tried to change my signature and avatar, but it's giving me this message: 8192: Function eregi() is deprecated
(/www/htdocs/always/YaBBSE/Sources/Profile.php ln 592). Don't know what that means, but is it something to do with the move? And is it fixable? Thanks in advance.
