Greetings and saluations! Hmmmm....it has been like 3-4 months since I was on last. Whew! Time whips by...
Liz - I hear ya on the FB. Not often here any more, but try to check FB at least 1-2 times a week. However, I do miss the forum as you can tell. Gotta hop on from time to time. 
My chickens just started to lay eggs this week. I have six and 4 of them are laying. Hooray! It was pretty chilly last week we were about -9F to -21F almost the whole week. Today it went up to 20F and it felt like a heat wave.  Hope it is warmer for the rest of you.
Happy Thanksgiving (a day late) to those of you in the US! I enjoyed visiting with family and a tasty dinner.

Wow!!! Is this the longest gap there's EVER been between posts on this thread or what?? 
P.S. Sorry for the excess of punctuation above... I'm just shocked. 
On a different note... we in Oz are currently experiencing the worst flooding in Australia's recorded history - at least, the most wide-spread.
Dunno what it is about the place, but we just seem to reel from one natural disaster to another. 
However, I hope all you guys are having a happy 2011 so far.

Gem, been watching the flooding in Oz and feel so bad for you folks!  It really does seem like the disasters are picking up all over, doesn't it. How are thing going now?
