Hahahahaha!

What did I tell you

There will never be a series of Lost without a break in it.
8 episodes and then an unknown waiting period - sorry, but that's stupid.

Oh well, at least Heroes isn't letting me down

I hate when they put breaks in the series because you lose where you were!!

I never got into Heroes, missed loads then didn't watch again, prefer Lost

uhhh, the break wasn't planned, and they kind of can't help it....but I do agree, they should wait to see if the season will even be completed before they even air.  Well, either way they're losing a ton of viewers.

Sort of is such a harmless thing to say, it's just a filler, it doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things sort of means everything - like after "I love you" or "You're going to live."

The strike isn't their fault, and it was ABC who decided to air the eps anyway, which Damon's apparently not happy about at all. FOX kept 24 until next year so they'd go interrupted, perhaps ABC should have done the same.

Either way, everyone's been crabbing about Lost's schedule for so long that I'm really starting to get tired of it. No matter what they do with the schedule, that is possible for their production schedule, people will still complain and moan. At least we get to see it until the end, no matter what. How do they do it for other shows, anyway, and how many complain over them? I just try to enjoy the show.

I only complain because that kind of thing doesn't ever happen over here. And I think it's pretty poor if any channel feels the need to put a break in the middle of a series. You forget whats been going on, and it causes people to stop watching it, which will make it more likely for the program to be cut from TV altogether.

What do you mean I forget what's been going on? Weren't we just discussing this?

And ABC has already bought 48 more episodes of Lost, all the episodes left until the series ends, so that contract keeps the show from being canceled no matter what happens to the ratings. So there's a very unlikely chance it will ever get canceled at this point. At least that's what I've been told.

I wasn't saying 'you' as in YOU. I meant 'you' as in a general term.
Don't know about anyone else, but I forget after a while, my Mum does, and a lot of my friends have stopped watching it. Because they can't keep up with it.

And we're in the UK. With no breaks. So they forget after the short wait between the different series. lol If they had to keep up with the breaks within the series too... there would be no hope lol

Oh, wow I really misinterpreted that. LOL.

I know what you mean, for other people at least. Personally I follow this show so hard-core that I never forget. Perhaps the ratings we saw for most of season 3 were mostly the hard-core fans, and the half that was shaved off were the more average viewers who forgot over the break and/or didn't want to stay up late.

I wish America was more like Europe. No breaks OR interrupting commercials? *sigh*

You do get advert breaks. On every channel other than the BBC channels.
Only one advert in a half hour show, and 3 in an hours though, none of this advert break just as the introductory credits have finished malarky though lol.

Do you have to pay a TV license in the US?

Just reminisced watching 'outlaws' episode from season one, the best series!!

We don't have the trouble of adverts as we download the episodes

What is a TV license?  I'm guessing we don't have to pay one in the US...unless it's called something else. Or I'm just dumb. haha.

Which is really really really mean when you're a poor student.
No TV in my room

Thankfully have the wonders of a free TV licence in communal areas of this years flat, and a spiffy plasma digital TV.

The BBC channels should just give in and show some adverts, lol. The programs on there aren't even that good anyway.

okay I figured it was just a bill...we have a few basic channels for free, and then you have to pay for cable.
