Cry movies. Oh man..CRYtanic by a longshot.
It's about the only movie that does, and it's not Kate Winslet that makes me cry either.
It's the old couple. The part where they curl up in the bed together, gram and grampa knowing they're going to drown and just give up.
I loose it every time.
I almost can't watch that movie it's so sad because it actually happened to somebody.

Oooooh! I've thought of another one! Besides LOTR, Brokeback and my other top 'crying' movies - I'd have to say Peter Weir's take on World War One - GALLIPOLI
It stars Mel Gibson when he was young and gorgeous and Mark Lee.
This 1981 film has themes in common with LOTR including War, Friendship, Duty etc. and features one of the SADDEST endings in film history!

^^^ Well, if we're talking animation - then 'Bambi' of course, everyone knows why!
And another I remembered: "EDWARD SCISSORHANDS", Tim Burton's 1990 masterpiece starring the amazingly-talented Mr Johnny Depp.

I totally get this Vickster. My kids don't get why I bawl watching 'Fox and the Hound'. I think kids have to have a certain level of understanding and empathy with the suffering of others before they can feel these emotions about anyone except themselves.

It's crazy, but I watched the new Parent Trap movie all the time as a kid and never found anything very sad, let alone enough to make me cry. Now that I'm a teenager, every time I watch the scene where they put the two ripped halves of the picture together and make that whole discovery, I can't keep my eyes dry. I get a little misty even typing or thinking about it. I don't know what's wrong with me, LOL. It's also hard to watch the scene where Hallie first reunites with her mother, even though her mother doesn't realize she's the other daughter.

The movies that made me sad were Titanic, a little bit of Gladiator, LOTR: ROTK ( the end ) and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights

'P.S I love you' The trailers for it never interested me, but I watched it a while ago due to boredom, and I cried sooo much! Every time she got a letter I just bawled my eyes out! lol
'The Notebook' is my fave crying film though.

Definitely Titanic...not for leo performance ...
For Kate Winslet...the whole scenes are just brilliant....that's why James CAMERON won the Oscar

You cried, but it's so sad. Well the only bit that truly gets me is when SPOILER Thomas J dies and his funeral
