Did anyone see this movie? It was on tv last night, and I swear to god, It is really really scary! I was screaming my head off every five minutes. It's based on one of Stephen Kings best-selling novel. It's not what I thought it would be. I thought it was about dreamcatchers, but was I wrong!

I dont know, I've seen so many scary movies, but some of them are scary in the beginning but then towards the end, they suck. But this movie was different, I mean, there was blood all over the place, this huge, HUGE alien standing in this house. I was freaking out, so I think this is one of the scariest movies I've seen.

Wow. I've heard nothing but terrible things about it. My mom's read the book, so she's biased towards it in a bad way, but she's usually as skittish as me when it comes to scary movies. She said it was boring. *shrugs* Meh... Aliens never really bothered me.

Yeah, tomato ketchup blood and computerised aliens do nothing for my adrenelin. "Mess with your mind" scary is more my thing.

I've never read the book but it is boring and a bit ridiculous at points. Damien Lewis was the only thing that made me keep watching.

I saw it a couple of months ago. Me and my friends thought it was supposed to be really scary but it wasn't really all that scary to me. In my opinion it was a little boring at the begining, but I thought it got a lot more interesting when Dudits came in. (sorry if I spelled that wrong). He was my favorite and I cried at the end when he died. I thought that one guy was really funny who always said "F**k me Freddy." That was so funny when he said that.

I agree! The book is ten times better! I thought it was pretty shit actually... It wasn't scary at all... In my opinion that is...

I didn't expect it to be all that scary anyway, but I did like the actors chosen to play the characters, espesially Damien Lewis as Jonesy, Jason Lee as Beaver, and Donnie Wahlberg as Duddits, but the screen play could have been much stronger and better developed.
I believe that people who haven't read the book enjoy the movie more.
