Hmmm.. That does sound interesting. I hope it winds up being made. Sounds like that is still in doubt.

It's good to hear he's playing new movies..(Harry's finishing  ) and I hope he doesn't do any naked scene in this movie..if the playing happens cause I think he's going abit way to far! 
and if you excuse me ...WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???
he can transfer the range and passion that he showed on stage in Equus to something on the big screen, then many a Potter critic will be silence.

I think it means that if he does as well in this project as he did in Equus, then people that didn't like Harry Potter might like him as an actor. (I know you don't like Equus...sorry!)
I do hope it winds up being made. It sounds really interesting, and it is good to see someone like Dan moving outside Harry potter - everyone thought he was going to be typecast, but the way it's going, he's moving far from that.
