Yeah, I like the idea of Naomi as Narcissa too but apparently her agent has denied that she'd be involved in the film.
I can't think of many other actresses to portray Narcissa either.

Naomi would have been good, a shame she's not in it.
I'm pretty sure lavender and stuff will be included, I heard they were casting for her and for a young Tom Ruddle a few months back. I haven't heard anything more on it though.

I just found this on MuggleNet:
According to the Wiltshire Times, filming for Half-Blood Prince will take place in the village and in the cloisters at Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire, England. This location will be used for multiple night scenes from the sixth Potter book. Shooting will last four days in October between 5 PM and 5 AM. A sum of £30,000 will be given to the village in exchange and in addition, each resident will receive a sum of £200 and a secure parking service.
Now, wouldn't it be great to live in that village?

I was just going to post that! It would be great to live there - getting to be where Harry Potter was being filmed and getting paid for it too!

No idea, I thought he did very well on the fourth one...though I thought that about all the directors exept Alfonso Cuaron (sp?), I didn't like the third one as much.

I thought OoP was the best so far, so I'm glad that Yates is staying. I think the next two movies will be the best of all because the story is beginning to cresendo at this point. I've gone back and read through the first four books again and am constantly amazed at how JK has planted hints so liberally through all the stories. HBP is a lot of revelation, but thats necessary at this point.

From Mugglenet:
"Helena Bonham Carter back for 'Half-Blood Prince' Helena Bonham Carter, the actress who portrays Bellatrix Lestrange in the Potter films will be back for the upcoming movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince according to an article today from The Independent. Although filming for the next movie begins in just two months' time, in a statement issued yesterday Helena's publicist said she was not due back on set to film her scenes until Spring 2008.
The actress is currently pregnant with her second child, which could explain the delay in filming her part."
I think this is great news, I thought she did a great job!

Filming starts in just two months? Great!! Thanks for that Cristiel! I liked Helena Bonham Carter a lot in the last film, she's an amazing actress, and even though Bellatrix didn't have a lot to say, she really captured her.

I think it starts earlier than that. I just saw Mathew Lewis and the Phelps twins at DragonCon this weekend and they talked about it. Mathew is going back today to get ready to go back to work on the film but the twins don't have to be on set until November so are going to stay in the US a while longer.
I'll be posting some films of the HP panel from DragonCon later, if anyone would like to see them.
Hugs, Rach

James is looking FORWARD to Fred's death! He says he's excited about doing it.
All three of them are lovely, intelligent, VERY NICE young men! They're also very funny. James is more outgoing than Oliver is, and Mathew is very articulate, but a bit shy. He blushes if you LOOK at him! lol They are avid in their appreciation of the fans and love coming to the US. They said they have never met a fan who wasn't nice.
I'll post those little videos as soon as I can get time. Right now I'm rushing around trying to get caught up from being away.
Hugs, Rach
