i thought this episode was wonderful. it had more going on and i find it grows with each episode.
Quote:| she couldn't help but keep feeling sorry for Ryan. (especially in the last scene) | that was a good scene and ryan is a bit pitiful, but he's learning. wilfred is doing a good job teaching that old dog new tricks.
if you want to read my review of this episode, i have it posted HERE.
i'll have the next episode reviewed before the show airs next week.
new episode review of "Fear" is up!

is anyone else finding this show amazing? just when i think it's topped out, they go in a different direction. i love how it's now going on a tangent where wilfred isn't constantly badgering ryan. in the last two episodes ryan is coming to his own by no real manipulations from wilfred.
and the laughs are starting to make me feel uncomfortable. why am i laughing at these things? it's so totally wrong, but i still crack up! i think it's due to the awesome writing and fantastic acting.
i'm always looking forward to thursdays now and i'm crossing my fingers wilfred will see another season.

I think we laugh because we see the parody. I thought this last episode was well done and well-acted. Elijah has great comedic timing and his non-verbal expressions are terrific. I was having trouble with Ryan's mental health issues but I think you?re right; he?s becoming more confident in himself. I will be glued to my set on Thursday nights for sure.

and thank goodness for parody, otherwise i'd probably feel more guilty about laughing without it.
wilfred has become my new guilty pleasure, so bring on the next episode. looks to be another winner with ryan confronting drew. (jenna's boyfriend)
speaking of jenna, boy did she turn vicious in the last show. forget the cute story... let's go for shutting down a hospice!

I apologize for not being as active! But I have been watching the recent episodes, and loving each and every one of'em.
My arms were flinging around so much once I saw the previews;Lois Beth will be making an appearance. Also, the actor who played the father in Even Stevens was the doctor in tonight's episode! "AHHH Nostalgia!"

last night's show was brilliant! the whole mad scientist bit was too much! and it's good to see ryan being more assertive toward wilfred. they're confronting each other more and i love that.

yes, double posting is a no-no especially if it's not at least a week or so longer, but you can modify your post. i do understand the enthusiasm though. it's wonderful news about the second season! booya indeed!
i think most of us knew it would happen. it was just a matter of time when it would be announced.
but the show on thursday...pride, was the best EVER! i thought i would loose my cookies! that episode was beyond hysterical!

So tonight's episode was full of "AWWW'S" from me. The ending was just "AWWWW" worthy. :'D (... even though I had no idea if it were a dream)
I was so rooting for Ryan when he shut his sister up and she finally confessed the truth... and the hug. And Wilfred saying "Piss off!", whilst smacking the wine all over her bathrobe.
I give this episode two thumbs up. It's my favorite so far!
(and Elijah in that costume... oh, how embarrassing! He looked similar to the Salton in Disney's Aladdin. )

TOTALLY AWWWW worthy! i wasn't expecting such a sweet and touching ending. i was crying and from the tweets, so were others.
up until the end which is standing out as my favorite scene so far, i thought there were a lot of great moments last night. ryan finally telling off kristen, and seeing her vulnerable side for a change, wilfred's hysterical possession channeling voices from president lincoln to magic johnson, and wilfred creating havoc at the party.
i have to find another word for brilliant!
oh, and i have always loved the dress from indian culture and i loved that elijah got to wear it and he looked rather handsome in it. love the way his garment flowed as he chased down wilfred at the party.

I've been surprised at how different yet still connected each episode is. The writing is witty and the acting superb, Elijah and Jason have real chemistry.
I was tearful at the end seeing Ryan cuddling his pup. It feels as if little by little we're seeing him heal emotionally. Very powerful stuff for a half-hr comedy.

Please tell me that I wasn't the only one who was laughing when Mittens was a woman in a kitty costume... Her quote had me dying.
"I need to pee...!!" Oh Jenna, you crack me up too!
I preferred the first episode to the second. The second one was all right... at least everyone is getting to know Ryan a bit more. What surprised me that the neighbor with the motorcycle didn't show up...

you weren't the only one allie, though i saw it coming but not until just before mittens transformed. it does put some background to what's happening to ryan.
i wondered where spencer was as well. maybe he was on vacation. he could have been the other suspect to the rash of break ins that happened.
i loved both episodes with a slight lean toward compassion. mary steenburgen was wonderful and i hope she makes another return. there were so many guests in the second show, i didn't even catch them all at first.

I was originally not going to watch this (as much as I love Elijah). It just seemed too off the wall. One of my friends made me. Well not made, maybe prodded me in the right direction.
I find that after each episode that I draw a blank. I mean there are no words sometimes! LoL..so weird. I did tell my friend that I totally dislike his hair here.
I'm always a lil behind cause I work at the time it airs. So I watch it on hulu. They run what though? Week behind? I just finished watching the one with Kristen's (sp?) party. Is that the most recent? Or no.
One thing I'm rather annoyed by is that I look up and a half hour has gone by. These need to be longer. They really do. Maybe Wilfred's just better in small doses?
Ah well.
