I've seen Dayo - it was on TV over here once. I thought Elijah was great in it - and so cute! Unfortunately I only saw it in German - I would love to see the original one day. I wouldn't mind a little Dayo for myself - especially if he was Elijah.

I've seen it, in fact I own a copy of it on VHS from Australia that I got on eBay... only problem is, it's not region 1, so I can't watch it again (I saw it once on another tape I bought on eBay which was faulty and broke both itself and my VCR on the first play) until I find someone trustworthy who can convert it to region 1.
Elijah was adorable in it, by far the best actor in the cast.

I haven´t seen this movie either...  , but honestly I´ve never been really interested... not my sort of storyline I think.

oh iv never even heard of "dayo" i dnt remember seeing it on imdb either, another elijah movie to find- thanks HobbitDreamer67

i know many who wanted to see this movie no longer come to the forum, but there is a download of it now.

right click "save target as"
it took me 4 hours to save it to a CD so i can watch on my television, but it's worth it, and this completes all of his movies i have seen. 
he's such an adorable kid in this. he must of had a lot of fun making the movie. it has adult themes in it, something elijah has always done in his films, and it's something people old and young can relate to.

Just curious...how big is the file and how long did it take you to download with cable?

well, like i mentioned, it took 4 hours. actually 4 hours and 12 minutes. this old computer just ain't what it used to be. 
the file is a little over 500mb and since it was recorded from a tv, there are little bits of commercials in it. nothing to make it annoying though.
and i agree. finally, we get to see this, and it's a good movie to have in your elijah collection. one of those rarely seen, as we know.
