Hi:)
I'm from Germany. I started out as an Elijah fan after LotR but over the years I turned into a big Dom fan, I guess that's why I am updated about what he's up to;)
I get all my Dom information from Livejournal. There are some great Dom communities over there(dom_media, domweek), I also check several Lost sites that still have under forums for him(the fuselage, lost-media)...And most of all most of my friends on Livejournal are also fans of Dom and some of them get google alerts, so it's not that hard to follow what he's doing. As for the other actors, I have one site or community for every actor that I check regularly to keep up to date on what they are doing...
Dom is planning to go to Nigeria to hunt the Hercules Baboon Spider, the biggest known spider in the world. So far there's only one known and it's exhibited at the Natural History Museum in London and Dom wants to go to Nigeria with a film crew to hunt for another one from that species. He talked about it when he was on Leno to promote his Happy Accidents exhibit. He's a huge fan of animals and always wanted to do nature shows and one of my favourite TV appearances he ever did is his appearance on the Craig Ferguson show when he had cockroaches, snakes and other animals with him-he's so great with animals:)
Well, I don't want to start any fights but as far as I can see Elijah doesn't seem to be very busy right now. He's following Gogol around all the time and he hasn't filmed in over a year. In the same time Dom did 2 movies and starts his third next month...At least acting wise it seems that Dom is way busier-but that's just my opinion and like I said, I don't want to start any fights:)

Don't worry, Moffel...you won't start any fights. Most of the folks here are really nice...and some aren't HUGE Elijah fans. I prefer Sean Astin myself...hee hee. But like to follow the LOTR boys to see what they are up too.
Germany! Cool! I am from Montana, USA. Popping online and surfing around A&F and LJ is a little hobby of mine. Don't laugh but I didn't even think about checking for a community on LJ devote to Dom. Silly me! No wonder you are so well informed.
Those Baboon Spiders are HUGE! Have you seen a picture of one? When Dom mentioned the spider during his Happy Accidents show...I went online to find a picture. All I can say is WHOA. I certainly do not want to bump into one of those! A spider hunting show would be very neat...I hope he can get a producer interested.
Elijah has done a few movies though: *Day Zero (2007) *The Oxford Murders (just released in the UK theaters) *Christmas on Mars (don't know much about this one) *9 (post-production status now)
I think Elijah is switching gears and is focusing more on music and his record label Simian Records. Of course, he long time girlfriend, Pam, is a backup dancer for Gogol...so that explains his interest there. So between that and being a model he has a lot of irons in the fire.
I had heard about Dom's role in "The Pet", but didn't think the storyline was very interesting. BUT I could be wrong. So all in all I am glad another Dom fan has joined the group. You can help keep us informed on all his news.
Toodles!

Just wanted to let you know that Dom did voice work on a video game called "Fable 2". A special for that game will be shown on Sci-Fi Channel several times this week...The special includes an interview with Dom.
It's also been announced that Dom will play a British rock star(yay!) on an episode of Chuck(NBC show) that will be aired in 3-D next February...
He's pretty busy right now

I finallyy saw this thread again.
It's nice to meet you, Moffel! My name is Heather. [Obvious?! Yes, yes it is.] I live in Indiana in the US. I think I'm the only one around here from Indiana, actually, but that doesn't really surprise me because the area I live in isn't the greatest.
You're german? That's cool! Most of my family is of German descent, including myself, though I can't really speak German. I plan on learning to in the future though.
Those Baboon spiders are huge, Julie! I looked up a picture of one, as well, not too long ago and thought someone turned King Kong into a spider! haha I'm not sure I'd want one of those to fall on my head if I were traveling through the jungle.
Elijah also has two movies called, "Made In Japan," and "The Passenger," that are in pre-production. "Made In Japan" is said to be released in 2009, and "The Passenger" has yet to be decided on. Just a head up on those things because I didn't know if you'd seen that stuff yet or not, Julie.
Elijah and Dom are both busy bodies. They're actors though, so that's all the more that you can really assume of them. I'm sure they really appreciate their time of, but on the other hand, I think I'd probably like working a lot if I were an actress.
On another note, it's really cool to hear that Dom has a character voice in Fable 2. I thought it was interesting to read because I just finished playing Fable: The Lost Chapters on my computer not too long ago. I'm not sure whether they'd use his voice on both the Xbox 360 and the computer game when it's released, but I imagine they probably will. Anyways, thanks for providing some more news on him, Moffel!

Wow! That is great news, moffel! It really seems like an interesting movie. Can't wait to see if it gets wide release here in the States anytime soon.
It really doesn't seem like much in the movies have been released lately...at least nothing really big or exciting. Of course, they may just be my area...not many folks have been hitting the cinema lately...and we do only have one in our city.
Looks like another Dom movie is in production: Fortuna. According to IMDb - "A 22nd century horror-thriller in which a decimated economy and myriad climate crises have eliminated the middle class, resulting in a sparsely populated elite class and teeming masses of poor people. Fortuna, a game with a sinister ulterior motive, is created. The stakes: one person in a thousand earns a big payday and entrance into the upper class, though the losers pay a deadly price."
Release date will be sometime in 2009.

Yeah, I already mentioned this movie in my October 15th post. Shooting started today in Sofia/Bulgaria and will last 6 weeks. Dom co-stars with Freddy Rodriguez(was in 6Feet under and in Bobby with Elijah). The movie sounds really interesting and I can't wait to get more infos about it.
