i used to be crazy for orlando. i just...well i became more interested in elijah.  i still think orlando is really cute though. he played great as legolas!

It doesn't help that he really hasn't been in much...especially lately.  It seems like he is more in the "news" for his romantic adventures....rather than his acting abilities.
I guess is must be very hard to shoot to almost "super stardom" right out of film school...and then kinda fade into the woodwork. He seemed to have picked a few unfortunate movies too. He certainly was great in LOTR!
I did like him in Elizabethtown, but found the story kinda lacking. They could have done so much more with the story...but they didn't seem to develop the characters enough. I really loved the scenes when the whole family was together though. It had endless possibilities. It also cracked me up that Paula Dean played one of his aunts. She is such a hoot. 
Did you like any of Orlando's other movies?

well...iv seen orlie in Elizabeth Town, LOTR 1, 2, and 3, Pirates of the Carribean 1, 2, and 3...i cant recall others...yeah, i agree. E Town could have been more...well interesting and more detailed but it was good. i got more into elijah when i saw him playing frodo the first time i saw LOTR. at first, i was only watching LOTR to see orlie...  he was so cute...but when i saw elijah...well...idk, i just got into him and off to the computer i went to learn more about him. now im a huge fan.

I saw him in Troy , he was awesome in that movie, but i was wondering where is him recently , did any one hear the rumors of his relationship with Jenifer Aniston , is those rumors true?

I think I heard about those rumours, and frankly I've no idea if they're true. On the whole I tend to ignore anything I hear about Orlando's love-life, it's too confusing! I'm not sure if he's still doing it, but he was appearing in theatre in the UK, which I think would be really good for him. Theatre actors always seem to me to be a bit more, what's the word, well-rounded? (For instance Michael Gambon, Kenneth Brannagh, Judie Dench, Maggie Smith, Aieleen Atkins, ooh, and Daniel Craig now I'm thinking!) Hopefully it might make him choose some slightly better scripts when he gets back into movies! I think I've seen most of his films, the only one I haven't seen being 'The Calcium Kid', which looked too awful. I liked Elizabeth Town, but it's the sort of film I watch when I don't want to have to think too much. He was good in Troy, but I personally don't much like that film, too far from the Iliad for my liking!

His love-life is too confusing to follow.  Who can keep up.
I saw an article somewhere mention that Keira Knightly and he were teaming up for a remake on Saturday Night Fever. Not sure if there is any truth to it....and quite frankly who would want to do a remake of THAT show?  It probably was just a rumor since I can't find any confirmation.
According to IMDB he is starring in the Red Circle set of release in 2009, but the details are sketchy.
He does appear to be working in UK Theater or was and I think it was a good move. Helenoftroy is so right...it does make an actor more balanced. And it helped break his string of "ify" movie choices.
It would be neat to see him in a good strong drama.

Yep, Orlando's girlfriend is Australian model Miranda Kerr - they've been together for over a year now, and even tho I live in Oz, I haven't heard about them getting engaged until now.
Miranda seems like a nice person and she's even converted to Buddism like Orli, so who knows?
^ Here are the two lovebirds... I think they were at the races.

That is a nice picture, Gem! I didn't know they were both Buddist. How interesting! I haven't seen any further news...but quite honestly I haven't had time to look. I figured Orli might be settling down before too long.
I sure was surprised with the engaged rumor because I thought someone said they split up.
