Oh, Sabine, I have just read your story and I am very happy you managed to go to Edinburgh and there to meet ELIJAH!!
He sounds as a very nice person; I like that. This makes me feel that maybe one day IŽll have a chance to meet him. The pictures are great, you were so close to him!!
Congratulations for your fantastic encounter!!! and thanks for sharing it with us.

OK, Here's my London story but first my photo 
I may go on a bit here but thats how excited i am!
Our flight from Edinburgh was delayed by an hour so we were all getting pretty stressed as we knew the Apollo would be getting quite busy. We arrived at about 3pm (soooo late for a prem!!) and I saw Lisa up the front. I ran up to her and gave her a big hug and then realised she had saved me a spot next to her, on the front row. I love my big sister!! She couldnt save a spot for Janine or Beth though she had tried but they really understood and were great about it. I felt bad as i normally go mad at people who jump to the front at prems but at the same time I felt I had to make the most of the opportunity as who knows when Lij would be back??
It was the most stupidist set up for a prem any of us had ever seen. They had one rope for a barrier, no gates or anything. We knew we would be in trouble when Elijah arrived. At around 6.45pm, stars of the movie began to arrive. Beth was stood behind Lisa by this point and Janine was stood on a ledge nearby, ready to take photos. I got all the stars again except Charlie but i got him the day before so im not too bothered! The crush when the others were arriving was awful, we were getting really worried. Then, we suddenly saw Elijah had arrived, come in through a side door and was having his photo taken inside! We all started screaming for him so his PR person came out and said if we calmed down, they would bring him out to us but we had to be quiet and keep calm while he was doing press. We all shut up immediatly!! Trouble was, after he had done press, he vanished down some stairs! We were a bit worried about this so security came out and told us they were trying to sort something out for those of us who had waited the longest!!! This is when i realised how lucky i was and how grateful i am to Lisa!! Finally, 3 guys came out and told us they would be taking us into the cinema's foyet to meet Elijah! They would take ten in at a time and we could get one thing signed and one pic!! OMG! I was first in line and my heart skipped a beat AGAIN when i saw him walking towards me! I moved towards him and just gave him such a big hug and he gave me a bear hug back! Then we said hi and i told him i had been in Edinburgh yesterday and had given him the Westham shirt and he said "Yeah, thats right, I remember!!" Yay! I then got my item signed, which is a really nice mounted pic of all 4 hobbits that Billy Boyd had already signed and he had put "Pippin" underneath his autograph so I asked Elijah if he could write "Frodo" and he said "Sure I can!" I then asked for a pic and he said "no problem" and put his arm round me and held me close and Lisa took the photo. Then, that was it! I said bye and moved away. Lisa was then calling me back as id taken the silver pen she needed to get her pic signed!! I also remembered i had a letter for Lij that i had forgotton to give to him in Edinburgh and had nearly forgotton to give it to him again. So i quickly ran back up to him and said "Elijah, Im sorry, I forgot to give this to you!" He said, "Oh, OK, thanks very much!" and took it from me. I hope he reads it. Lisa gave me her camera to take her pic with Elijah but i was being literally pulled away so i had to hand it back and then got pushed out!! LOL! There were two French people outside who saw me being bundled out and they had the weirdest looks on their faces! Too funny! Esp as i then started screaming! Lisa then came rushing out too and gave me the biggest hug! She'd had a great meeting too, giving him a card she had made for him, saying "Thanks for the memories Elijah" and had lots of pics of Frodo on it. Too cute! Then beth came out too, she hadnt got a pic but had had a nice meeting. We then walked back round to the front of the cinema and saw Janine, who hadnt been able to get in which i still feel really sad about 
So, a brilliant couple days! I dont know how long it will be til I come down off of this cloud!

Awww, I am loving all these reports! Thanks to everyone for sharing! I almost feel like I was there. I'm also thrilled that Charlie Hunnam seems just wonderful.

Wow wow and double wow... I'm so happy for you!!!
I'm so amazed at how sweet Elijah is to his fans.. I think that is so personable of him
I know he's got this thing about not writing to them but when he meets anyone he is so kind..
Way to go girls.. you had such a GREAT experience!!!
My heart is throbbing with all the excitment you put into your reports back to us.

Thanks for the links Yeux, I have seen that before and as much as I am disappointed that GSH was not even mentioned,
I am happy, that "Tsotsi" won over "Serenity". That means, independant movies have a good chance to be successful and to be liked by a greater audience.

Great to hear from you! It was lovely to meet you and I really enjoyed chatting with you, I wish we could do last week all over again now! Elijah was just incredible on Wednesday, I wish you could have been there with me!
