Robert Cormier wrote a book called "The Bumble Bee Files Anyway" ...is it like the movie that lij was in? has anyone read this book?

Yeah, I think the movie was based on the book. I've never read it, though, but I'm guessing it probably would be.

I've never read the book, but my guess is you're right.. I mean, usually when a book and a movie have the same title (especially something such as 'The Bumblebee Flies Anyway'.. haha), they're related somehow to some extent..
Like I said, I haven't read the book, but I saw the movie. I rather liked it. It had a kind of weird plot.. a sad one! But I liked it all the same. I shall have to look out for the book now!

Isn't it called 'The Bumblebee flies away'? But i am pretty sure that the movie was based on a book.

i've read the book, but never seen the movie, and yes that's the same movie that lij was in- he was the main character. the book was really good!!

That's what I originally thought. After reading the title how many times and even renting the movie (last year)... and I still didn't catch on. Well, not until my friend showed me that I was wrong and it was actually "anyway". Anyway...

I liked The Bumblebee Flies Anyway, but I've never read the book. Personally I think Robert Cormier's novels are kind of strange.
