I forgot Realm of Possiblity by David Levithan. Its the only book i've ever truly been sucked into, and could read and reread for hours and hours

My favorite books of all time are the Lord of the Rings series and my favorite author is J.R.R. Tolkien. Personally, I don't think anyone will ever be able to beat that kind of writing, he was a genius. I don't think anything can ever come even close to that. I also like The Chronicles of Narnia and C.S. Lewis, and the Harry Potter books too, but not nearly as much as LOTR. I love reading, especially fantasy books, they are my favorite.

Technically a play, but published in book form so I think it counts: Arcadia by Tom Stoppard.

My two most favorite books besides the Bible of course is:
Anne Of Green Gables (read it about three times).
Dr. Suess' Fox In Sox (I know it sounds corny but when my oldest child brought it home from school library when she was in the 2nd grade (she is now in the 8th grade) I fell in love with it. Because it makes me laugh to the point of tears in my eyes before I get done reading it). It is so embarassing to check it out of the local library with me being 38. I even asked for a copy of it for Christmas but didn't get it . Oh well I just love it).
Oh and my book I am writing, my hubby's two books he is writing, and my 13yr old's book she is writing.

My favorite book is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I've read it 16 times, although it's been a few years since I've picked it up.
I have a number of other books that I like almost as much and I would list them but for the fact that it's very late and I'm practically falling asleep at the computer.

Douglas Adams - The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy quintet
Follow-ups: "Everything is Illuminated" - Jonathan Safran Foer (yes, THAT Everything Is Illuminated - awe.some. BOOK) "Night Watch" - Sergey Lukianenko "Treasure Island" - Robert L. Stevenson

Elijah Jordan Wood (Characteristics) - too mindbogglingly, devastatingly gorgeous to be plain human. Possibly one of the few recorded cases of a male succubus, thus to be treated with extreme caution....mind the eyes!

Well it's more like a comic... but it's called Manga. The Manga I've been reading is Fruits Basket. I just finished Vol. 2. It's really good!
I've watched the Anime, but I think I like the Manga better. But the Anime I think is easier to understand.

Even though they're children's books, I absolutely love everything by Graeme Base. Just look at the quality of his drawings:

His books are page after page of that sort of thing, it's so amazing!

My number one favorite book is the Bible. Everytime you read it it's like there is something new!
And I HATE Harry Potter with a passion... I hate witchcraft. And yes, I have read the 1st 2 books. They were both CRAP. (believe me, I didn't read them because I wanted to. I had to for school.)
My favorite series is the Series of Unfortunate Events... they're really well done. I was sad to read the last one .

just like I can never name LOTR as a fave movie (it goes beyond that and dosn't give other films a fair chance..) I can't name That, Harry Potter, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galexy or any of the Discworld Novels to my Fave. It just isn't fair, as they go far beyond a favorite
I am currently enamoured with Neil Gaimons American Gods
Everything is Illuminated was just a stunning piece of art, IMHO.
I but think my favorite book would have to be Good Omens (by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman)
