I loved every one I read, although most of them were sad.  Has anyone read the latest one, The Guardian. Is it good? I haven't read it yet. I like romances very much (that's why I also love Joanne Harris) Have you ever read any of her books? You should if you like romance. The books was sweet, yet sad, but I actually liked the movie a little better.. But Sparks is a good writer. Joanne Harris wrote "Chocolate", "Coastliners","Five quarters of orange"... and those are the only ones I've read.
