Those delightfully creepy people at SpectreVision visited Los Angeles Comic Con over the weekend to talk about their equally creepy film and gaming projects. You can see some photos here, and watch their panel on YouTube.
:: If you didn't get a chance to be spooked out and entranced in the theater by the force that is Mandy, but really want to, no worries. It's now available for purchase on DVD and Blu-ray! This bloody and chilling film is near the top of a long list of movies so far this year according to the site, Thrillest.
:: PosterSpy held a Mandy poster contest and the entries are great! Even yours truly got in on the frightfully fun action. Check out the submissions here.
:: There's a couple more days left to scare up some votes for SpectreVision's, Transference. It's been nominated for a Golden Joystick Award for Best VR game. You can place your votes at the site.
:: Great movies are hard to keep buried. Netflix UK and Ireland announced it will stream the entire trilogy of The Lord of the Rings starting tomorrow.
:: It's still very sad that Johann Johannsson passed at his start of burning up the cinematic world. He has posthumously won Film Composer of the Year at the World Soundtrack Awards. His last work was scoring the film, Mandy.
:: War is hell, but the collector's edition of 11-11: Memories Retold is not. The new video game, which comes out November 9th, has some sweet additions. Check it out!
:: If you missed Elijah's ghoulish guest voice performance in Cartoon Network's, Star Wars Resistance, there's a short clip of the episode. From the way it played out, Jace could be back for revenge.
:: Are you dressing up in your best Over the Garden Wall garb for Halloween? Are you on Twitter? Then head over to their costume contest now and send in your photo for a chance to win a secret prize.
:: Finally, to get in mood, I'm dusting off the cobwebs from an old video I made titled, Faces of Halloween.
That's all... for NOOooOOooow.

The Sitges Film Festival just ended and director of Mandy, Panos Cosmatos, walked away with the Best Director award. Congratulations!
:: Here's an interview Elijah gave on the success of Mandy. Since opening a month ago, the film has topped $1 million dollars at the box office, gaining more praise and dollars as the number of theaters diminish.
:: Even more awards are lining up SpectreVision's mantel. Transference won for the Best Interactive Narrative VR Experience and best Immersive Story at the recent Raindance Film Festival.
:: The upcoming video game, 11-11: Memories Retold will donate proceeds to the charity, War Child UK. You can read more about it here, as well as watch a video of Elijah explaining more about the game and the charity.
:: Just in time for Halloween, Eli Roth's new program, History of Horror debuted last night on AMC. Elijah is one the many guest speaking about the craft of the genre and their experiences with horror movies. Zombies, ghosts and vampires are all welcome.
:: It has been announced that Elijah will make his first appearance in the Frankenstein episode on Drunk History on Comedy Central. If you've never seen the show, it's an hilarious take on American history told by an intoxicated narrator and performed by actors.
:: The inset image of Tony from I Don't Feel at Home in this World Anymore is by artist and animator, Matt Pierce. He also created this piece for Mandy.
:: Lastly, Elijah tweeted, "Totally down with a duo flick!" in response to a question asked of Daniel Radcliffe in a video favoring doing a movie together. Make it happen guys!
That's all... for now.
