All is quiet here on the front, but Elijah and part of team SpectreVision were in Montreal recently, most likely to check progress on their upcoming VR venture with Ubisoft, Transference, which is slated to drop in June. Here are a few sightings from the visit. [1] [2] [3]
:: Over the Garden Wall is still beating strong. A new tale of Greg and Wirt is being produced as a graphic novel coming out in November. You can read more about it at The Beat.
:: Fans' effort to Save Dirk Gently is moving onward with over 93,000 signatures on the petition. Another rouse to get voices heard has been launched to send postcards to Netflix. Here is one of my cards to them.
:: Though neither Elijah nor Samuel advanced to the final actor round in this fun television poll, Dirk Gently has gone on to other finals in several categories as well as best episode and Sci-fi program.
:: Oscar weekend is coming and since new images are a bit limited, the inset photo is from the 2004 ceremony.
:: Adding a new portion to A&F, we are sharing an artist's journey. Nino is attempting to paint one image of Elijah a week for the year and we will feature her paintings in the fan art section. Good luck Nino!
That's all... for now.

Seems like Elijah has gone a bit incognito again. Hopefully it means he's held up reading scripts and looking for his next challenging project. For the time being, there are a few things.
:: Elijah quietly made an appearance for a program at the Egyptian Theater for American Cinematheque's tribute to the Beastie Boys. As you recall, Elijah portrayed Ad-Rock in their popular 2011 short film/music video, Fight for Your Right Revisited. Currently, there isn't footage from the event, but there are a few photos. :: Filmmaker Magazine posted a discussion during the Sundance Film Festival about the workings of a production company. The team at SpectreVision took part in this and you can read about it here.
:: If you're up for a little friendly competition, there's a poll taking place where you can vote on the best TV shows from 2017. Dirk Gently is in several categories if you want to join in the next round beginning sometime this week. And don't forget to sign the petition to Save Dirk Gently with nearly 82,000 others so fans can continue to experience things connecting.
:: Closing out this short update with the sad news of the untimely passing of composer Johann Johannsson. His brilliant career yielded stirring music for films such as The Theory of Everything, where he won a Golden Globe, Sicario and Arrival. One of his last works was for Mandy, SpectreVision's newest film. They tweeted, "Johann Johannsson was our dear friend, our treasured colleague and our beloved collaborator. We are devastated by his passing, but blessed by the breathtaking beauty that he leaves behind. Elijah also tweeted, "So distraught and saddened to hear of Johann’s passing. He was such an extraordinary composer and artist."
:: That's all... for now.
