Heh... I was a little miffed about that Spoiler, as I had been avoiding them like the plague for months, but no worries, mate.

Oh no! I is sorry. I didn't know there was a thread for it at the time...I sad, I hate when things are ruined. Bah.

Er...my life is pointless at the moment. I think Timmy might be mad at me? I don't know. I haven't talked to him in like...2 days. See, he works from 7am-6pm and doesn't get home until 6:30. So every day at 6:15 I get up to talk to him online for 10 minutes before he leaves for work, because I'm usually working at nights when he's home. Yesterday I slept through my alarm, and I called and left a voicemail...and he never called me back or anything...and today he's not online. Wtf. If he is mad then that's gay. And if he's not then that's still gay cause I haven't heard from him and it makes me sad.

/rant.

It's 6:40am. I went to bed at 4am. I've been sitting her since 6:18am. I want to go back to bed.

Glad you had a good time, Manda! Woot.

Ooh, I'm going down the shore for the weekend starting tonight. Hooray!

Sorry about Timmy, Beth; boys can be so stupid sometimes. Hopefully he's not mad though, and just busy. Though, the busy thing sucks too.    I hope things work out.

And yes, I did indeed have a good time, thanks!

Have fun at the shore! Is it as hot there as it is here? Gah, it's like living inside a toaster oven up here. Ick.

My sister and Dave both got back from band camp today. I went to pick my sister up, and saw a bunch of the band kids and realized how much I missed it this year.    I'm such a dork.

I know, stupid Newsweek.

I am pumped!  I've done no planning, except for the fact that Matt's mother calls me all the time now. To chat. She's nice.

Orange is indeed the new blue for you, Malin. Congrats! Whee. *Throws confetti.*    I'm so happy for you - for everything! Lol.

Today was an interesting day. I had to be up before 8 to take my little sister to band pictures. For not being in high school marching band anymore, I'm still quite involved.. lol. Then I came home, Dave called, and he came over around 11. Me, him, and my sister ended up mapping together all afternoon. Haha. Then I went to work, where everyone was in such a weird mood, and I just wanted to go home. Gah.

I've been really busy lately! Phew.

I finally got my schedule for my cosmotology school classes. I only have classes twice a day - I really like this. Four classes total. I can't wait to start, but I still have over a month.

I've still been talking to Matt's mom a lot. She sounds so sweet. It looks as if Matt and I are going to go to New Zealand sometime early-September to see his parents. Man, planning a wedding is hard, and I haven't even really planned anything yet! (But I won't deny having looked at a few bride's magazines.)

So I haven't posted in here to tell you that I've gone and come back from Las Vegas. We just went for a few days, it was lots of fun. Came back with about $40 more than what I started with. It's not a lot, but it's good for Las Vegas.

Heya Malin! Good job, coming back from Vegas with more than you went with. I'm impressed. And yay for the wedding planning/trip to NZ! I'm so excited for you.

I really like that picture, too, Mags. I can't wait to go back to New Zealand now! *Le sigh.*

Well, I've been nice and busy lately. I've been working about 4 or 5 days/nights a week, getting ready for college, hanging out with friends and/or Dave.. gah, it's such a crazy time! I may actually be glad when I finally just say good-bye to everyone and get out of here.

I've been talking with my roommate a bit online. She isn't exactly like me (in fact, she's more the opposite of me), but she seems really nice anyway. I think she may be tolerable. (I *hope* so, at least...).

I just want to start band camp already. Lol. I have to play the cymbals though for the first few days.. ick!

Our thread is pathetic.

How was the flight to New Zealand, Manda? Matt told me its about 20 hours. Ah! I love to fly, that's not a problem (Air Force daughter), but I might go stir crazy from sitting that long. I have to be able to move around.

So, I'm thinking I may get my wedding dress custom made. Nothing spectacular, its not like I'm going to call my pal Vera Wang and ask for a favor. I just want something original. That fits me well and doesn't make me look fat.

Haha, our thread is pathetic indeed. Oh well.

I flew to NZ from LA (which, I'm guessing, is how you'll fly), and our flight was only 12 hours. Not 20 (thank God not 20!!!). If you can sleep okay on planes though, you should be just fine.

A custom made wedding dress sounds really nice. Are you going for the traditional white, or another color?

Well, I'm at college now, guys! I moved in this morning (gah, that was an adventure!). But now here I am, the first day of band camp and college life. Met a couple nifty people from the percussion line. Apparently there's already a party going on later tonight. Meep! Lol. I'm finally situated into my room, and am very glad for it.

That's still a pretty long flight. Damn. Well, I'm really glad Matt feels the need to exaggerate to make me uncomfortable.

Yeah, I'll probably get white. I never really thought about it, but I'm guess deep down I'm pretty traditional. It's funny though, when I told my brother that I'm engaged, the first thing he said was, "You shouldn't be allowed to wear white. You aren't are you? Don't give people the wrong idea." What a jerk.

Yay, college? Where are you going again? (I've probably asked you this a lot, but I forgot). Is it a big school? Because I could watch the football games on TV, see the band and be like "MANDA!".

How big is your dorm? The basic square with a bathroom down the hall, or is it apartment style? My sister's dorm at Georgia State has bedroom and private bath. It's real nice. Have you met your roommate yet?

Yeah, it is indeed a long flight. 12 hours is not pleasant. But hey, you'll be on your way to New Zealand. Somehow, I think you'll survive. Plus, those big jets are much nicer than regular ones anyway.

Definitely not cool, what your brother said. Not cool at all. Lol. I think I would have hurt him in some way.

College is good so far. Haven't really started much yet, though - just band. But that's going well; the drumline is really nice. I'm at Ohio Northern. Tiny school, but I rather like the atmosphere. Unfortunately, since we're so small (Division III), you won't likely ever see me marching anywhere on TV. Sorry.

My dorm room is actually one of the bigger ones on campus. I've been in some of the other ones, and mine is considerably bigger. The bathroom, however, is still down the hall. Oh well. I'll deal. I have been told, however, that my hall is the rowdy one with all the football players (Park has 2 floors of guys and one of girls). So I'm really hoping all the stories are just exaggerations. We'll see, I suppose.

Well, off for some more social bonding now. God, I hate trying to make new friends.

Hope college is going well, Manda.

I'm off to Auckland, New Zealand tomorrow night. Going to meet Matt's parents. I'm excited.

College is tolerable. Lol. All the reading and studying that goes along with the classes isn't quite so fun. And I miss Dave like crazy. But other than that, it's not bad. Could be much worse, I suppose.

You're off to Auckland?? Yay!! Well, I guess you'd actually already be there by now. Or at least be on your way there by now.. the whole time difference thing still continues to confuse me.

At any rate, make sure you tell us (or.. at least me) all about it when you get back!

I'm in New Zealand! God, how is this country so BEAUTIFUL? Why Matt wanted to move to the USA, I'm not sure. (I'm glad he did though!) I am in love with Matt's family. They are so nice and welcoming and cute. My family is just a bunch of dysfunctional freaks.

My dad is flying in on Thursday. This will be interesting. I'm marrying a foreigner and my dad is like Mr. America, bound to serve the country until he dies. I think this is odd.

So, anyway, I love New Zealand. Matt's sisters (he has 3) took me out of a bar last night, and we drank Steinlager and watch rugby. Haha. The best part was that I was wearing a shirt that said "UCLA Soccer". All the people are like, "Soccer? You mean football? Bloody Americans." I LOVE Kiwis!

Manda, you'll adjust to college. You'll love it after a while. It just takes a while to get used to how different it is from High School. When I was a freshman (this was at UGA), I was completely lost all the time. I made myself the WORST schedule, with classes all over the place. UGA has a huge campus and I used to have to gun it on a bike to get to class. Until I changed my schedule!
