If we didn't get sponsored to stay(which we will try to do) would have to move back in with parents and then get jobs and place to live again.
Either way it will be worth it all in the long run and we won't regret anything

When you were New Zealand and you and I talked you would say that you didn't like it there because you had no friends, no job and you didn't feel like you fitted in. You've said the same things in the UK, but now you're saying you loved New Zealand. Why is that? Nothing has changed. You're vacation is exactly the same now as it was then. The things you said, did and felt are still there.

I think that was because it was a big thing and I always get like that anyway  but of course we are and did have good and bad times. But looking back on the experience as a whole I really have to say I enjoyed it and don't regret anything. Coming back to the uk has been hard as we both knew it would be as we had sacrificed our jobs and flat to go in the first place. But whatever happens however many years down the line we can look back on this period in our lives and say we actually did something we never thought we would do

But for all you know you could be sitting at your PC next year looking back on this year and think the same thing. You have to try and be happy where you are rather than always looking for something that seems 'more interesting'.

Everybody finds it hard where they are but you have to ignore everything that has previously happened to you and get on with your life because you only get one life, you don't want to waste it wishing you had someone else's.

Couldn't have said that better. Vicky is right, Elizabeth. You have to live in the here and now, rather than in the past. You have to look at the positive things in your life as it is right now. You've got to make the best of it and tomorrow is too late to enjoy today.

It's okay guys, I certainly don't wish I had someone else's life because then I wouldn't have met Mark or been to New Zealand. I am very happy with my life right now even if I haven't got a job yet, I still have Mark and my future to look forward too

Elizabeth - I think I undertstand you. Like Victoria says, you have one life, and the way I see it you just want to spend it doing amazing things like the working holiday in NZ. I don't see what's wrong with that. We should all do some unusual things at some point in our lives. It's an experience that most people are too scared to go for, but you went for it, so good for you. I hope you get a chance to go back.
