Yeah I want kids!
I'm from a family of very few children. Me and my brother were the only ones. We have no cousins as aunts and uncles from both parents sides were either not in a stable relationship, or just didn't want kids.
Seeing their lives I could imagine it is very repetitive and quite dull at times, whereas I compare it to the life I saw my parents had with me and my brother, and it seemed so much fun! My Mum didn't really work when we were younger, so we would spend our time going out, playing, making things and it was awesome. Everyday was so different and unpredictable.
I'm still such a big kid, I would like the opportunity to play about like that again, but you can't really do it when you're grown up lol.
I just hope I can be as good a parent as mine were to me. They were never anything but awesome, they still are! And I just know they would love more than anything in the world to have grandchildren. Cos they're still big kids too, we still do stupid stuff even though the youngest child in the family (me) is now 20! lol

Can't you? Wish someone would've told me, LOL! You should have seen me today, playing charades with the kids, trying to guess famous actors etc. - I did a pretty good Professor Snape.
My son and I also have fun changing the lyrics of songs into rude rhymes. I'm a terrible inflence!

I said yes. I would like children, but haven't decided how amny yet. I think it's be great - you could kind of relive your own childhood.
By the way, this seems more like a 'Misc' topic.

I would have said no ... but that might change once i get older/settled down/and bored. lol. i -don't- want to have kids come out of my vagina, though. I'm hoping i'll be able to afford a c section or something. I don't want my special place all stretched out and ickified. *shudders*

Stop reading my signature. Don't deny it. You're reading it. I can see you. You're giving it the casual little once-over. How rude. Didn't your mother teach you better?

Elizabeth, I can understand your fear having gone through two natural deliveries - but the chances of dying in childbirth are so low these days as to be almost non-existant (at least in the developed world).
You'd have more chance of dying crossing the street.
But I still believe it is a personal choice whether to have kids or not, I'd never pressure anyone to do it, as labour IS painful and children ARE tiring, expensive and a lot of responsibility. But hey, that's life eh? Kids can also be loving and cute and fun. And when you're old they can look after YOU! LOL!
