You know, I'm one of the few people I know that's never been on a cruise with no desire to go on one unless maybe it's to Alaska. I hate hot weather. Can't wait to hear about your trip!!

No your not Romeny cos I never been on one either and dont fancy it, I get travel sick  plus would hate to be stuck on a boat for hours..how boring is that. My grandma has been to Alaska.

Hi everyone.
wow Deenan, your trip is coming up so quickly. Have fun! I don't think I'd like taking a cruise, because I get seasick so easily. I guess I could take medicine for it, but being out on the water would make me a little nervous.
You are going to have a great time. 
School started last Monday, and it's been such a hectic week. I've been so tired this week, just trying to get back into the swing of things. I hate getting up at 5:30 in the morning. 
Yes, Romeny, it's me Katydid. I used to come here a lot.
Culpie, have you gotten over your cold? Summer colds are the worst.

Awwww...thanks, Kathleen. Yes...I was fortunate not to have a long summer cold. It lasted just about a week. Wahoo! I think I do remember seeing you post as Katydid in the past. Welcome back!
Liz, your paragliding looked like so much fun! You are so brave. The pics came out great!
Romeny, I am with you....I have no desire to go on a cruise. Being on a ship with a bunch of other people is not too attractive to me. However, they really seem to be a good way to travel around see lots of place at a relatively low cost. It just wouldn't be my first choice for travel. I got a think with the open ocean.
Deenan, make sure to take lots and lots of pics. It will be fun to see them when you return.

You are, my dear! Not everyone would try paragliding and I think it was very brave of you and Mark to head off for NZ. It is always scary to leave what we know and are familiar with....

Seriously either one is fine. A couple folks here call me Julie, i.e Shayda. So whichever you like best...or you can alternate.
I laugh a little because Shayda changed names a few times that I still call her Veronica or vernie sometimes. Fortunately she never minds.
