I KNEW you would understand.  Doing pretty well today. As usual I am alarmed at how fast the time goes. Yikes! It must be my age.  They say the older you get the faster time goes...heh heh.
Finally I read/answered and deleted all my emails and notifications from A&F and LJ. Whew! It took forEVER! 
How are you doing? I popped on the website and read the last couple entries. You both seem to be having a great time. Is Mark still enjoying his job? Any news on the interview yet? I got my fingers crossed for you.

Hello everyone, glad to see some life at this place!

Gemstar, this "oldie" is doing fine...
Culpie you've been quite busy I have to go back to read what you posted over at LJ, I'm so behind in reading over there.
So glad to get a break from all the hot weather here, it's been incredible in the 50's at night and 70's during the day. Things are thankfully slow here at work but we're gearing up for the beginning of school.
Waves to anyone else I missed.

Hi Romeny! So good to see you! Yes, my schedule has been kinda crazy. I like to blame my brother and SIL who were out visiting all July. Nothing like the whole family together to keep me offline. I hope your summer is going well. It must be admitted that while I cleaned out my notifications, messages and emails....I have yet to catch up on my LJ flist entries.  However, I know I will soon.
I did start my entry on Yellowstone...just haven't finished it yet. It should be ready for posting soon.
Gem, I totally hear you on that. It has literally taken me almost two weeks to catch up. But the vacation and break were worth it. Uh oh...did I see you mention the flu? Whoa...too early for that! 
Liz, are you staying out of trouble today?

Me too! When I read your blog...I keep forgetting that it is winter there in NZ. Isn't that funny? So when you say something about too much snow or very cold...it stops me for a second.

Doing pretty good. I seemed to have picked up a summer cold and it is draining me. I coughed so much that my lungs are really sore. Sad. I comtemplated staying home to get some rest tomorrow...but I may be off to Seattle, WA for work - 9 hr drive. I won't know for certain until tomorrow. Here's hoping we can accomplish our goal over a video conference.
It is pretty dang hot out here today...up to a little over 100F and expected to stay this warm until Thursday. I can't really complain though...it has been fairly mild this summer.
Ack...i gotta go grab some tea and medicine to stop my coughing.  I will be later.
BTW - good luck on your job interview! I am really hoping this will be the one!

Deenan, I can't believe your trip is coming so quickly! When you are sitting in the sun with a drink in your hand...think of poor little ole me with my nose to the grindstone.  Oh second thought....don't think about it just have a wonderful time.
Liz, when you interview do they actually ask how long you are staying? Maybe you could say something like we originally planned to stay until December but we may extend our stay based on finding work. Just a thought....
