I think personality matters the most. What do you guys think? 
looks is if good looking or not
appearance means how they look ie make up, har etc.

I don't quite understand what you are asking? Do you mean you value personality over and above people's appearance,( including hairstyle. make-up, designer gear).
If so, I think anyone of substance would have to answer 'yes' to that one!

I think I'll go for personality too, after all our bodies are changing and getting more older no matter how much we try to stop it. If we love the inside first, the outside will be always gorgeous for our eyes (that's my father taugth to me)

the 3 elements are all important as Lanta said before,
But if i have to choose 1 of them,it'de be the personality of course...
The absence of a good personality could ruin the appearance and the looks as well...

Personality, but I'd be lying if I said looks didn't matter to me. I'm afraid I can be sometimes quite judgemental of some peoples appearance, not a nice thing, but everyone has a bit of bitchy in them I think 
Also in regard to a partner. Physical attraction is as important as personality attraction.

Yes, I voted personality. I do try not to judge by appearances, and I manage it very often, but if there is someone whose persoanlity I don't like, I often criticise their looks as well, which I know is mean, but....sorry.

It has to be personallity. I mean no matter who "they" are that you found, if it works you are going to have to "contend" with them for a long long time after the "cute" wears off.

Wow, I'm obviously the only honest person or the only shallow person
I voted appearence, meaning I go for a personality that shines through in their looks. How you feel and who you are inside, shines through on the outside, so happy people shine brighter and more beautiful and attractive than people who are annoyed.
I also think clothes are important, it reflects the personality as well, I think.
I know, personality is important as well and I'm not saying it isn't, but the first thing I look at when I meet a boy is their appearence.
