Lately it seems that all the of the "It Girls" are trying their best to lose weight. There's nothing wrong with being healthy, but I feel like some of them are just unhealthy looking. Here are a few pictures of a few of the female celebrities that are incredibly thin, maybe even too thin.

I always thought that after Renee last all the "Bridget Jones" weight, that she looked unhealthy and too skinny. I don't like looking at new pictures of her, it bothers me.

And, we all know what Mary-kate (was it?) was/is anorexic.

And like last month Lindsey Lohan lost 20 pounds and dyed her hair blonde...wasn't she skinny enough?!

Anyway...I don't care for stick-thin women, I like them to be there, have some curves and not be invisible when they turn sideways!

It's sick that I know so much about their personal lives!

Yeah, me too! I don't understand why Lindsay would want to go and lose all that weight, anyway. She was 5'7" and 130 pounds, and now she's 104 pounds or something. I don't think she was fat at all. She was really pretty and curvy. I saw her on a talk show today and the host asked her about how thin she was and she bit his head off. She said she wanted to be an actress, not a celebrity, and that people should butt out of her life. Hrm ... and she also said that she was only that skinny because puberty hit. LOL. She's, like, 18. I think puberty hit a while ago, don't you?
Hrm ... Mary Kate was anorexic, but there were also rumors that she was on drugs. I don't know if that's true or not, but that was in a lot of the tabloids.

Dont you gain weight when puberty hits? LOL yeah, I think she is a little old for the whole puberty thing...

That's a lot of weight too lose so fast.

Whatever makes them happy though...obviously theres more going on than wanting to be thin, something must have triggered them to lose all that weight in such a short time...

haha, yeah. Like when she bought those boobs.

well... "how thin is too thin" ... hmm, well, i don't know, but i'm not it!  haha... yeah. well, i'm 5'10.5" and i weigh 172lbs... i've lost 8 lbs in 8 days! no, i'ts not a mirical pill... it's... surgery! That's right, ladies. Get your tounsils out, and you too will be able to lose a lb a day! ... for how long, I DON'T KNOW... haha, but that's not the point. No, seriously, since my surgery weight loss... which is still occuring... i only need to lose 2 more lbs to be in the "healthy weight range" for my height and bone structure (large)... but i think i will still need to lose a bit more so that i can... like... not have fat rolls.

I know ... maybe there's just too much pressure on them or something to look a certain way cause everyone's looking at them. Apparently Lindsay was really touchy on television about it today, though, and if there was nothing to it I don't think she would have gotten so upset.

I don't care what celebrities look like. I think you would have to be impressionable to react to what they look like, in your own life. I can't understand how people can feel pressured by what people they don't know look like.

Anyway, I am underweight. I'm happy with the way I look. I don't feel that I am too thin. 'Too thin' is up to the individual. Some people may like curves, some may not. Personally, I do, but I can't help my body shape, although I have gained a little (yay!).

Mary-Kate Olsen is getting over an eating disorder. It's a serious problem. I don't think she should be held up as an example of 'too thin'. She needs help, not criticism.

Hey ... I for one am a personal fan of the Olsen twins, and I'm not trying to criticize anyone. I don't think anyone does. I feel like all of these girls need help, really. There's nothing wrong with people that are naturally thin, but some people, like Lindsay Lohan, are not. She is a beautiful girl naturally, and it's a little heartwrenching that she feels she needs to lose so much weight.

Well, I personally do not feel like I am acceptable looking. I'm not really overweight, but somehow I feel like I have to live up to the way celebrities look because they are the "ideal" girls. I guess I'm one of those people that is very self-conscious and very easily impacted by the way people who are labeled as the most beautiful girls in the country look. I feel like I should look like them.

True say Sarah.

But you know celebrities, if they aren't "thin enough" they don't get movie roles...

I don't know...I'm overweight and trying to lose some weight at the moment...cause I want to be healthy and not have to try on things i adore and then have them not fit.

Yes, isn't it be fabulous being a teenager?

Good luck with your weight loss Jess, hopefully you get to the weight you want.

Sarah, I envy you!

That's true. I don't really think that's very fair, though.

Yeah, I need to lose some weight, too. I don't know why I keep saying that and never doing anything about it. It's very strange.

I think everyone is impressionable to a certain extent. When you flip on TV and see these girls that are stick thin, and they are suppose to define what is beautiful... how can you help but to want to also be beautiful. Our society is a very vain one, which is obvious when you look at the sudden surge in plastic surgery rates. Most people are easily influenced by certain ideas of "beauty"

arg! i know, i hate that... you see something really cute, try it on... and NOOOO.  especially with me and jeans. use to, because of my size, i would have to shop in the "plus size" section... then i lost enough weight to where those sizes were too big... but the sizes in the "normal" sections were too small! arg! now i wear about a size 13... it's a little easier to shop... but still hard to find stuff that fits my belly (big) and my butt (non-existant) haha, then factor in the height issue... and, yeah... makes shopping a great experience.

Thanks! same to you. Ohh, i have some fabulous weight-loss products if you want me to tell you about them. ... you ... might be able to get them in Canada. I don't know, you could look and see. If you want them, just ask, and i'll pm you about it.

Oh sure, tell ahead! What products are they? Like pills? My dad use to work for some company that makes weight loss and muscle building pills/shakes/mixes, etc. But he said im too young to use the weight loss stuff...poopy.

It's very sad...that there is only one "beautiful" in society today...i'd much rather be a healthy size then stick thin and trying to stay that way when my body naturally has curves and an ass!

Are you talking about Arbonne, Jess? Yes ... Arbonne has some good weight loss stuff ... shakes and everything. I think they may have the pills, too. Of course, my mom's allergic to the pills and she started growing hair on her chin. It stopped when she stopped taking them. LOL. No one else in my family that uses the stuff's ever had that problem, though.
