Well, I am glad that things seem to have passed the crest. Of course there will be a lot of cleanup and a lot of heartache for those with a lot of property damage. But, hopefully the worst has passed. Take care.

Well my backyard is still under water.. but it's been sunny and we will need a backhoe type person to come in and do drainage in July when hopefully this will dry out but wow we will have mosquito haven this spring UGH!! No water in our basement though... Many roads are out and trees and cars are in the river by us. My poor neighbor has the river cut into his property... I don't know what he is going to do.. My other neighbors dog made it though.. that dog is amazing...
Bridges are out and the govenor is trying to declare us in a state of emergency... so many people are filled with mud and depris in their houses and yards .. it's disquisting... a lot of clean up is going on now. Trees are floating in the river all over the place... One woman was killed.
