The official DVD site In LotR Viggo actually fell in love with horses and he bought the horse that was playing Aragorn's horse, and Arwen's horse for Arwen's stunt double as she wanted it but could'nt afford. And the stund double did'nt have to even ask him. Th movie shows Viggo's love for horses well I guess. He sure went long and hard road to save the mustangs. I think he and the horse were soulmates, in a way.
