I only actively discovered this show a few days ago. I think Season 1 is being aired on TV at the moment, perhaps Season 2. I just watched Season 1 on DVD these past couple of days. I really enjoy the mixture of scenes between Charlie's and Don's family, life at University and the FBI. I like the character of Charlie very much, I can relate to him so well. He is a wonderful person! Plus, I have always loved numbers. I am looking forward to watching Season 2.

In the US it has been on the air since 2005 but over here in Germany I only just discovered it on TV. With the abundance of crime shows on TV, it would be easy to miss. Plus I don't watch a lot of TV, which is probably why I haven't watched it until now.
The show is mainly about F.B.I. Agent Don and his team who enlists the help of Don's younger brother, Charlie, who is a professor at CalSci and a math genius. Charlie helps Don by solving cases trough math. At times this show has been critizised for being unrealistic but the cases from the first two episodes of Season 1 for example are actually based on real cases!
There is an interesting blog here: http://nuweb2.neu.edu/math/cp/blog/?month=02&year=2005
Here is an interesting bit of trivia: David Krumholtz, who plays Charlie Eppes in the series, was also in "The Ice Storm" and "Bobby"!
