I just watched this last night, all I can say is what a great film!! I am not even a fan of Batman films but god, you dont have to be to enjoy this film. Everyone in it was brilliant (esp Heath, miss you )

Just saw it today. It was amazing.
Some of the bits actually had me making noises etc out loud!! Such as an awesome moment involving a motorbike flip!!
I think they left The Joker open for future Batman films but now i guess that won't happen as they will probably not replace Heath.
I think Two-face should have been left in it possibly for the next sequel.
Oh and i loved Cillian Murphy-Scarecrow appearance in it. I found that very funny!!

Gah I can't believe I haven't posted here yet! I completely adore this movie. Not only this movie, but everything Batman oriented. Ever since I was a tiny kid, my brother and I were Batman crazy! It is a huge part of me. I suppose you could call me slightly obsessed, but hey, I don't mind. This movie is absolutely incredible!

Another thing..... did anyone else catch the catwoman and Riddler references??
I wouldn't be suprised if Riddler is in next one seen as how he was practically set up in this one.

i did notice them. but i dont think there should be another film. But if they do another then the riddler is too much like the joker and it would seem a waste to use him so soon. i think they should do penguin, that would be a very dark one as the burton one was dark!

I am really looking forward to the upcoming films. I believe Christian Bail is signed on for two more movies at least. Of course the Joker won't come into the equation. I think they know better.
This could be a bit of a SPOILER to some.....
My friend, who gets his information from a viable online source (not certain the site) informed me that the next villain is to be Cat Woman played by Angelina Jolie. Not so sure how I feel about this.

Hmm yeah i heard bout that on imdb messageboard as well. I don't think that will happen though. I just don't see them bringing in someone like angeline jolie and if they do i think it will completely ruin it. I know i would have second thoughts about seeing it if she was in it.
Also after the Halle Berry film not sure now is right time for catwoman lol.
I personally think the Riddler would be the best one otherwise they built that whole character up for no reason, and i think the dynamic of the riddler knowing Batman would make very good viewing.

I agree. I wouldb't be happy with the Cat Woman personally. I'm definitely not an Angelina Jolie fan either. Of course, being such a huge Batman fan, I know I'd still see it.
The Riddler would be good. But I've always been partial to Penguin.

I think Jim Carrey ruined it for alot of people!!! I think with the right person behind it and right storyline The Riddler would be amazing. I think they should def stick with the bloke from this one ( i'm sorry but if all those hints and clues were an accident, i just don't buy it!!) as he not big star so we can't type cast him!!
I'm not an Angelina Jolie fan she makes me mad. I did use to like her, but guess people change!!

The man who they basically built up like the Riddler.
The employee - well ex now (just like Riddler) who worked out that Bruce was batman.
We know he is good with numbers (just like Riddler)
we know he knows who batman really is (just like Riddler)
and mainly his name
MISTER REESE
MYSTERIES.
Plus the whole of Gotham wanted him dead think that might push anyone over the edge and what with batman being wanted in the next one i think having the Riddler who knows who batman really is could be interesting.
