Yes, I've long been a Marilyn fan - don't really know why...
I've seen most of her movies, but my favourite is 'Some Like it Hot' because Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon are also really great in this.
I own at least three biographies about her as well.

I think the attraction is she had a very interesting, but tragic life story.
Marilyn never knew her real father, spent time in foster homes where she was abused, her own mother had a bit of a mental problem which was probably passed down to Marilyn who had problems with addiction and relationships, many abortions etc.
She was a luminous beauty who lit up the silver screen, and married at 17 for the first time, also later marrying Joe DiMaggio (baseball star) and playwright Arthur Miller, and famously had affairs with JFK and allegedly Robert Kennedy as well!
Her death is still a matter of conjecture.

Marylin Monroe was awsome. Some like it hot was a great movie. I keep trying to remember her quote about a "guy in glasses".
She was classic, and a lot of people don't give her earned credit for being funny, but she was sometimes, which is what I love most about her.
Best Marlyn line ever and words to live by.

I donīt consider myself a fan of Marilyn, but I really love some of her movies. They are real classics. "Some like it hot" is probably one of my favourite.

How do you believe she died, Elizabeth? Everyone has their own ideas.
No-one realizes it, but I do actually like Marilyn. I have a sandwhich tray, a cup, and a coaster with her picture on and a handbag of her.
