Doctor Who!! :)

I just did a search for this thread and I didn't find anything so I thought I'd start one...At the moment, the only decent thing on TV here in the UK (in my opinion!) is Doctor Who! Does anyone watch this? Is it broadcast in America?

I used to watch when I was younger, but it was never my favourite. Not too keen on it to be honest.

I missed all the original ones - wasn't born yet! - but I really got into it with Christopher Eccleston, but I still don't like David Tennant as much!
The last episode was absolutely amazing!! It had a really clever twist that I didn't see coming at all, and it finished the series really well! But my favourite charcter, the Doctor's assisstant Martha, played by Freema Agyeman (who is a brilliant actress) is leaving? Thats so sad!

I do like Dr Who, I don't watch every episode religiously or anything but if I remember about it i like to watch it.
Tom Baker and K-9 from the 1970's era still remain my all time favourites but I really like David Tennant's Doctor.
I haven't seen Torchwood, I would have liked to but I missed it somehow.

No, I didn't see any of Torchwood either, my friend kept saying 'Did you see....?' and I never remembered that it was on! Oh well! I love K-9 too! But I think the Daleks are my favourite!

The Daleks were geniunely scary to me when I was a child....I once went to this Dr Who exhibition in London, I can't remember exactly how old I was but I was no older than 5 and they had Daleks moving and talking around. One came up quite near to me and I started screaming it was horrible!!!!

Everytime the theme music comes on, my mum always says 'hide behind the sofa!' because she always did when she was a child - she told me two of her brothers had Dalek suits for dressing up when they were children and they used to scare her to, but I just think they're funny - 'big metal pepper-pots'!

I ADORE the dear Doctor! Tom Baker remains my favorite but the two latest have been smashing, too.
I DID hate to see Rose go. She was one of my favorite compainions along with Sarah Jane and Adric.
It is nice to FINALLY see the DR fall in love, even if he HAS intimated such before.
Hugs, Rach

I agree with you about Tom Baker, he was great.....and I think he will always be the definitive Doctor for me.

Never seen any of the old doctors but I plan on finding old videos or something one day...I prefer Martha to Rose, though.
