I love books that make me both laugh and cry, so perhaps that's why I adore that film so much - I must like extremes of emotion! All the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' films make me laugh, too - mainly because of the wonderful Captain Jack Sparrow.  And another one that springs to mind at the moment is 'Johnny English' - I don't usually like slapstick humour, but Rowan Atkinson does it so well! No matter what they sayyy ! ... *** ~~ maNga and FERMAN Lover Forever ! <3 ~~ Romeny Forum Chatterbox Offline Gender: Posts: 546 siggie & avatar by Deenan Re:Which films make you laugh? « Reply #68 on: September 04, 2007, 06:05:48 pm » I just noticed this thread but thought I’d mention a movie I’ve always enjoyed, my children love it; it’s for general audiences and I used to bring it to show on long bus trips to swim meets.  "Murder by Death" is the funniest movie I’ve seen and definitely one of my top 10 favorites.  It’s a spoof on famous detectives and their techniques that is a bit silly but still hilarious.  It’s pretty old, from 1976 which might be why a lot of people here haven’t heard of it but it’s a Neil Simon film, starring Peter Falk, Alec Guinness, David Niven, Nancy Walker and lots of other old stars that unfortunately are no longer living. I'd never heard of it until my brother made me sit down and watch it. My whole family were crying from laughing at it. Highly recommended!
