I'm not going to sign the petition. For one thing, if they DID change anything I think it would only ruin his death....and secondly, what exactly do you expect them to do? Of course I'm not trying to discourage anyone from signing it, but that is why I won't.

Sort of is such a harmless thing to say, it's just a filler, it doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things sort of means everything - like after "I love you" or "You're going to live."

Terry and Michael got nominated!!!! I was hoping for this. 
They've also been nominated for Best Directing and Best writing for a drama series......but no Best Drama nod. And no other acting nods. I'm not even going to comment on the disappointment part because everybody's jumping on that wagon and it's almost as if no one really cares or respects that Terry and Michael got nominated.... because they are AWESOME!!!!

there's a weird orientation "bloopers" video clip on abc.com's LOST page. it's really weird, and seems oddly significant.

if you look closely, there's random moments where the film breaks and an image breaks in for mere seconds. is anyone and good at making screencaps?

That definitely looks important. I stumbled across it on Youtube a while ago. I didn't know it was on ABC's official website. Looks like they want us to get a peek of this. The first image break was that big building in the Swan orientation that we saw in the beginning of season 2, where Hanso was inside, looking out a window. The second near the end was just upside-down footage of a bicycle in Othersville.
The most significant thing about this video seems to be.... (in case people don't want to be "spoiled" of anything)
The two bunnies with 15 painted on them. They all freaked out and she yelled "It's 15!!" and "don't let them get near each other!!". Seems to me that, if TPTB are actually going really sci-fi with this show, those two 15 bunnies are just one bunny going through a time-space continuum experiment, and that other 15 bunny was from another time or something. Like time travel. And if the bunny of the present and the bunny from another time in space get near each other, it will rip the time-space continuum or something catastrophic would result as a consequence. I don't know, just throwing balls in the air. But TPTB did say there would be no "time travel", even though Desmond technically seemed to do in "Flashes Before Your Eyes". I don't want anything to get too sci-fi and convenient.

i noticed two other flashes. one was a quick picture of a man with a beard (it was too fast to see who it was), and another had some writing on it...almost like it was from the brainwashing video they were playing for Carl.
wow, Blue Star, i hadn't even thought of that. impressive, and totally makes sense. it was just so weird, and they all seemed so genuinely (well, genuinely acting) freaked out. i don't know how they are going to tie everything together in just 48 episodes. lol

I won't be signing that petetion either.
I am a big Charlie fan, and I think the loss of him is very sad. But it's part of the story, and I thought it was a great part of the story, even if it was sad.
Plus, how exactly can you bring someone back to life realisticly after a death like that. I don't think it would be possible. And if it did happen, I think it would spoil the show for me.
OK, weird things happen on the island, but not that. Come on.
I'm currently re watching all of Lost. I just started series 2.
Remind me, when is the next series out? Was it Feb 08? I forget...

Yep, February. But I don't remember when in February... I have a sneaking feeling that it was late February. 
I would never sign the petition of course, because to be honest, I've hated Charlie ever since mid-way through season 2. He became such a horrible, annoying character who treated Claire in the stupidest kind of way. Okay, so he loved Claire and died for her, which was great and sad, but she deserves to be treated like an independent adult. He was stupid to a lot of other people too. I love Dom, but that doesn't mean I have to respect what Charlie's character became after season 1. After all is said and done, I'm mostly relieved to have him gone, because I really doubt the writers would have stopped making his character so shrieking irritating, pathetic and disgusting. 
Anyway, now that I've gotten that out of the way...

My cousins watched LOST finally several days ago.And they are fans too ! They like really it.I wanna watch now !

I think the first season of "Lost" was the best, but now I have a love/hate relationship with the show. I swear to God, it drives me crazy sometimes because of all the unanswered questions. If you ask me, Vincent is the best character on the show! They show do a flashback from his POV, haha!
As for Charlie, well, if he is dead, I will miss all the hobbit jokes, but eh...I was never really attached to him and I found his backstories kind of boring. I wouldn't mind if Kate was killed off too because she annoys me.

I have been rewatching Lost for the past couple of weeks and Charlie is getting incredibly annoying. I am just over halfway through season two and I realized that I can't stand him. But also rewatching the series has made me like season 2 a lot. Now I still think 1 is better, but 2 isn't that bad.
