I LOVE British comedies! At the moment, I'm a total Blackadder fan. I watch it everyday after school. Sooooo funny! My favourites:
Blackadder Mr Bean The Young Ones Monty Python Fawlty Towers Open All Hours The Royle Family The Vicar Of Dibley Dossa & Joe Billy Connolly
I can't say enough of the British and their humour!

Quote from: She Says on June 27, 2004, 11:06:33 pm Coupling is fantastic. I love Jeff. The American Version sucked ass. They used the same story lines, but made them worse.
The Office is great, too. I haven't been watching it a lot lately though. I never know when its on. I only get BBC America.

Did you know that they are going to make an American version of The Office. I bet it's going to be crap, seeing what happened with the American version of Coupling.

Ok, I just remembered one. Good Neighbours. I love it, but earlier in tht year it would but me asleep, but I still watched it, lol.

I hate to think what that'll turn out like. Seriously, why would they try and murder one of the most amazing British comedies like that? It's just evil. The Office is my favourite comedy. I still haven't grown fed up of watching the 1st series even after watching each eposode 20 times over. It's genius. Pure genius. I cannot speak higher of the series. Genius.
Ricky has to be one of my favourite comedians, if not my favourite.
And Mr. Bean. I've always loved that show! Since being a young child i have watched it. I admit though, if i got to see some of the eposodes again, i'm not sure i'd love it as much as i did as a child. I'm not sure. Rowan Atkins has always been a favourite actor of mine, but mainly because of Bean. But right now, The Office is much more my kind of humour. Serious, dry, sarcastic, stupid, British, simple, the funniest things are those you don't try hard to make happen. Brilliant.

The funniest Mr. Bean episode I've seen is the one when he stays at a hotel. He ends up getting locked out of his room cause it doesn't have a bathroom- so he drills a hole and goes to the room next door. It was so hilarious seeing him trying to cover himself up and get back into his room, esp. when he ends up on the elevator and later in drag. LMAO Oh, almost forgot--I laugh so hard I cry at the part where he mimics the guy at the buffet and ends up eating spoiled oysters. ROFLMAO
