I'm a fan of all the hobbits, too cute  . I also like Adam Sandler and Jim carrey cuz they are just awesome  . For female actors I like Mirranda Otto (Eowyn) a lot, even though she's not that well known in the US 
Edit: OHMIGOSH!! how could I forget Viggo and Orli!! I must be going senile early

Audrey Hepburn is my idol, and I also like Renee Zelweggar (sp), Viggo Mortenson, Orlando and Billy Boyd, and I've always kinda liked Julia Roberts and her movies.

I actually believe my first favorite actors were Michael J. Fox, Sean Astin and Tom Hanks.
the list has expanded:
James Dean, Jim Carrey (LOVE that man), Johnny Depp, Adrien Brody, Glenn Quinn
Actresses: Natiale Wood, Sandra Bulluck, Sarah Michelle Gellar...
crap I can never think of who else while i'm actually trying to write it down

Right now, I want to see more of Gregory Peck. I saw Roman Holiday and it made me happy.

I'm a fan of a lot of people. Before I mention them, though, I'd like to say that while I think Viggo is extremely uber-sexy, I'm not really a "fan." I mean...he's a cool guy but...it's more of an attraction and admiration than being a true fan. In other words, I don't look up articles on him or anything, whereas I do with these others.
Oh, and I've never met any of these, but I hope to meet the first few:
Lewis Black
Funny, angry, spastic man. He's my favorite!
Terry Pratchett
This man is my hero. I've read almost all his books, I think he is just GENIUS and WITTY and just all around SPECTACULAR. I know he's not an actor, but he's just my favorite and I had to mention him.
Steve Buscemi
Only my most favorite actor EVER.
Dave Attel
Haha, he's a funny guy. I liked his Insomniac show. Wish I still had cable.
Jon Stewart
A funny Jew if I've ever seen one.
Monty Python

Christopher Walken
That man can act in ANYTHING! He's incredibly convincing.

I like Liev Schreiber and Mark Ruffalo, even more now since I saw Eternal Sunshine. Mark is my new imaginary boyfriend (I know--sad.)
I like Meryl Streep more and more all the time. She is a great comedic actress as well--she's funnier in She-Devil than one would ever expect.
I also like Jon Stewart and Conan O'Brien. Funny, funny men.
I like Janeane Garafalo; my friend's daughter said I looked like her, and I am happy with the comparison!
I love Parker Posey and wish I could see more of her on the big screen.
I like Colin Firth (English actor in Bridget Jones' Diary) and of course Kate Winslet. I loved her in Pride and Prejudice. Emma Thompson too.
I liked the Hepburns immensely--both Katherine and Audrey. Classy, classy ladies. My Fair Lady is one of my all-time favorite movies, so I guess Rex Harrison too. Cary Grant is another favorite from that era.
And Gene Kelly, he was so amazing.

Argh!!!
I forgot Conan. Because he's HILARIOUS! He's really funny! I love how he's all tall and when he stands up next to his guests, he just looks like a big, geeky, red-haired giant.
I love his sense of humor, too. He's adorable. Really! I remember one night he showed clips from Saturday Night Live where he was in the background and he made it seem like his big debut on screen.
What a dork.
He's awesome. So...add him to my list.

besides Elijah? I'm a huge fan of the band Yellowcard! And my other favortie actors are Orlando(who ISNT a fan of orlando?), Johnny Depp(Edward Scissorhands was a sweet movie!), and I actually have ALOT of favorite actresses.

Conan is the only late-nite host that can get me to belly laugh on a regular basis. I love his running commentary of the audience's reactions/behavior. I wish he would get into acting and/or host more award shows.
Triumph the Insult Dog is also hilarious. I could not stop laughing hysterically when he crashed the American Idol try-outs in Hawaii--and then went on the local Honolulu news as the weatherman. Too too funny.

My friend is so mad because Jon Stewart is speaking at The College of William and Mary this year for graduation, and she graduates next year. But she has high hopes he'll come back because this is the second time within a year he's been to campus.
