Monster
« on: January 26, 2004, 05:21:05 pm »

has anyone seen the movie Monster with Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci?

honestly, i never thought much of Theron as an actress, but i must say she was absolutely jaw-droppingly fantastic in this movie. i have a newfound respect for her. and i personally think she was robbed in the Golden Globes!

so if you haven't seen it already, go out and see it now. its really good, one of the best movies (other than LOTR) that i've seen in a looooong time.

I've heard Charlize Theron's performance in the movie is just amazing! There are the awards to prove it.
I personaly want to see this movie, Charlize has really proven that she's not only a pretty face, but she can also act

Erm...I just wanted to say that I refuse to watch this movie.  It frightens me, even just in the previews.

I didn't think much of Charlize Theron until I saw Curse of the Jade Scorpion (a Woody Allen film).  So I'm sure she's good, but...urgh.  No thanks.

I do like Christina Ricci, as a sidenote.

Hope you all enjoy it!

I just saw this film on DVD a couple days ago, and I thought it was amazing, especially the end, which was so sad.

I thought the film was amazing, although a little disturbing.
I thought both Charlize and Christina were amazing in that film.

She's never inspired or intrigued me to go and see one of her movies before, but i must say that i am deeply anticipating the release of ''Monster'' into the shops. She does look very convincing. She's an incredible person in real life i'll say right now though. I think shes a celebrity who gives out a positive and inspiring outlook upon the rights of women. She's incredible.
