Thanks for the go-ahead, Mer.
I thought that duplicate threads would be annoying. That's why I felt so bad about making a duplicate thread for this topic. But I LOVED this movie. And I PMed a mod as soon as I realized my mistake.
I do what I can.
I'll be workin' on that thread...how did I get to start so many threads? And why do half of them turn into random conversations?
Oh right; because I start them.

I don't think millions of pointless threads are necessary. They degrade the quality of the board.

Seems like you don't like a lot of things.
I think that millions of posts about 'Happy Birthday Elijah' are pointless; it's not like he's going to read it. But people want to express themselves. You're free not to read them.
Degrade the quality of the board...riiiiiight.

Not really. He looked kinda out of proportion. His face, I mean. Kinda...squished in a weird way.
I like the cane Danny Devito had. I need me one of those. Maybe it's even better than getting a bat! I need to look into this.
That whole werewolf bit...that was funny. Touching, too.

I looooved the bit with the werewolf! That was so cute -- and I have a soft spot for wolves, anyways. I love it when the movie people decide to portray them as real wolves instead of those nasty, hairy, snarly beasty people that they sometimes do, like half-man half-wolf. Those are so dumb-looking.
I'm guessing Karl was a real person. Real giants do exist, but they do end up out of proportion, like curious said, just because they don't grow at the normal rate. It's really sad actually -- a lot of the time they end up with weird health problems, like some vital organ growing at a bad rate, and they die earlier than they should.

Yeah, yeah -- that's what I heard too. Have you ever seen the movie "My Giant" with Billy Crystal? It addresses that issue pretty closely. The movie was fairly sub-par, but the main guy -- the giant -- was wonderful. I wanted to cry at the end of it!
