I just saw this movie yesterday and i liked it a lot. It was different but in a good way. I liked Jenny/The Witch. I defininetly recommend it if you want a cute/different/good movie.

I just saw the movie a couple of hours ago. It is so good even my brother cried (which is something he hasn't done in a while) I loved the various characters in it. My favorite was Carl, cuz he was just so cool.
Didn't the soggybottms circus person look like Kieran? Elijahs scale double in LOTR? It even sounded like him too

Big Fish was sooooooo sad. And I mean, it's sad that in real life, not just in movies, there are people who don't talk to their parents because of one little argument or mistake, and it takes something like what happened in the movie(at the end; those of you who have seen it know what part I'm talking about) to bring them back together.
And you're right, he DOES look like Kieran!

I just saw it yesterday and I really liked it! I'm a huge Tim Burton fan anyway, but this was especially good -- very different his usual stuff. I've heard it's radically different from the book (I got it for my mom for Christmas) so I'm glad I haven't read it yet. I'm such a purist -- I can't really enjoy movies if I've read the book already and they make too many changes. But the movie is really good on it's own. Oh yeah -- I don't know if this is the case in all the places playing it, but the theatre I saw it in had a trailer for Secret Window with Johnny Depp. I was going inside just as it started -- I'm so glad I didn't miss it!

I just saw this movie on Friday. I LOVED IT! It's really good. Good moral. And my friend asked me out during it. Not trying to make myself center of attention, though. But that's a reason why I liked it so much.

I saw Big Fish two weeks ago. I love it SO much. Everyone thinks I'm crazy though because, despite the fact that they haven't seen it, they have something against it for its "wierdness," which it really isn't so much...that is wierd.
Anyways, have you seen it? Did you like it? Why? Am I actually crazy as everyone thinks [well, about the movie, I am crazy in other ways ]?

Tim Burton's Big Fish

I swear I saw a thread on this somewhere, but I've looked high and low and I cannot find it! So, here we go...
BEST MOVIE EVER.
No exaggeration.
I normally get scared by Tim Burton movies so I didn't plan on seeing this. Then my ex saw it today and said that I would probably like it - and he knows me better than anyone. So I ended up going later on in the day with a friend of mine...he was SO right. The jokes...so good! The story...wonderful. Amazing plot. So entertaining!
*SPOILER*
The movie was totally tuned into my type of humor. Example:
"She'll make soap out of you. "Cause that's what she does. "She makes soap out of people."
Or Steve Buscemi's poem:
"Roses are red, Grass is green, Spectre is great!"
Or something along those lines.
And Steve Buscemi - that was a surprise! He's so funny! My favorite actor by far.
*END SPOILER*
Did anyone else like this? I think this is going to be my new favorite movie.

I've noticed they're avoiding putting Ewan McGregor's accent in the trailers, lol! Looks like a good film, and Steve Buscemi is always great.

Quiet you -- we've all overlooked these things at times. (Just ignore her.) But yes, good movie! I've never read the book, so I don't know if it's close or not, but yeah -- good stuff! I'm a fan of Tim Burton in general though, so...
EDIT: The other thread (since Tiff elected to just mock you and not be helpful): http://always.ejwsites.net/YaBBSE/index.php?board=4;action=display;threadid=16007;start=15

I'll have you know, Tiff, that that wasn't on the bottom of the page when I posted seven hours before you; in fact, previous to that it hasn't been posted to for a few days. I also did a search on it - for the past 60 days. So yes, I did look high and low; I knew that there was one, but it wasn't on the first few pages when I looked last night; and it also should've shown up on the search engine, but it did not.
I don't know how much further one expects me to search. Besides, I was really tired - I refuse to search further than 2 or 3 pages if it doesn't show up on the search engine - that's just too much for me.
But whatever. This movie is awesome.

I saw it the weekend it came out. What a great story and it was done so well. Tim Burton movies get better and better than the last one.

"Look it's Elistu!"- After my friends and I saw The War in the movies "It was a dream....oh great!!" - After we saw North in the movies

Oh, really? That's cool. But that means possible duplicate threads - that doesn't bother you? If not, that's cool.
Ghey..erm...you're REALLY ghey...
I wasn't going to see it.
F-ing ex'es. Why isn't there an f-ing ex'es thread? Mods...may I make one?
You can totally delete it. I'll...er...put it in the adult forum? Is that any better?
I dunno. No one's on...hard to gauge.
Thanks!
