My mother and I were just talking baout it last night, some parents are angry about it.
I say, let him do it. For one thing, he's trying to head off at the pass having harry follow him for the rest of his life. No harm in that. Second, he is an actor playing Harry Potter, he isn't actually Harry Potter. He is going to play other roles.
And I mentioned if the parents upset are American, what would they know about Equus anyway? These types of parents that protest stuff like this are the ones who let their kids play Grand Theft Auto all day, and now are complaining about nudity overall invading their children's lives.
Lastly, for some of us, it is not a bad thing at all. I wish I lived in England about now!

Daniel is 17, not 7. Some teenagers (not kids  ) have lost their virginity by the time they reach his age FCS. He is becoming a man, believe it or not (*gasp* Oh the horror! *sarcasm* ). If he is comfortable doing it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Far from pedophelia.
And to boot, the pics look very yummy.

It was on the news over here last night as well. I don't see anything wrong with him being in a play like that, if he is comfortable doing that. If he doesn't have a problem, why should I? If he was younger than 16, I'd have my doubts but he's almost an adult now. And I'm pretty impressed by his body..  Plus, if you think about it, Elijah had a sex scene in The Ice Storm when he was 16.

Meh. If he's comfortable with doing it then there's no problem. He seems mature enough for it. If he was 18 I doubt many people would have a problem with it, and a year isn't going to make that much of a difference. I don't think it'll do a huge amount for his career, he still needs to prove himself as an actor rather than just do the most un-Potter thing he can. Distancing himself from the part is a start though.

I think he's taking a good step in his career doing this. I think that's a really good move. But, I don't think he'll be forgotten as Harry, either.
But, I'm glad he's trying out different roles. Nude or not. Besides, he looks good..
