Merry and Pippin don't do as much for me as Sam and Frodo (particularly Sam) however I do really like Billy and Dom as themselves, and Billy in a kilt is love.

When I first saw this thread, I thought Daniel Radcliffe was going to be naked in the next HP film. I was thinking wow, Rowling really wanted that boy to grow up, didn't she!
I thought it was really funny in when the article said there was a rumor that Harry Potter's new role would be in the nude for the ENTIRE play. Now that would draw attention away from his past as a boy wizard!

Yes I mean I've read Equus and from what I can rememer there are only 1 or 2 brief nude scenes, hardly the whole play. So if they did have Daniel naked for the whole thing it would hardly be true to the original text, LOL.

I was re-watching Goblet of Fire tonight so I got to see half naked Harry in the bath in the prefect's bathroom. Wish I'd got to see Ron and Draco as well.

I don't know what the big fuss was about in the earlier part of the thread. It doesn't sound that weird or disgusting. I'm not a fan of the guy but I'm pleased to hear he's doing theatre. I love the theatre myself and realise it's such a difficult but rewarding job to do.
The play sounds quite unusual, why would someone blind some horses? But I guess that'll be revealed in the show.
And I doubt you'll be getting any photos, unless they're for the press. Your not usually allowed to take photos in theatres in the UK, and sometimes not even allowed to take in cameras/phones which take photos in to the theatre at all, although different shows have different restrictions.

Well I have read Equus so I know why the character blinds horses, to be honest although I have joined in the fun with the 'naked' stuff the play is really quite disturbing and very dark, I read it when I was 14 because my older sister gave me her copy. It disturbed me greatly. It is a challenging role for Daniel, recquiring very good acting, hopefully he can pull it off and it is good to see him doing something so different from Harry Potter.

I completely agree with ElleJay, it really is good to seem him doing some theatre. I have heard so much lovely stuff about it and I hope to see a show sometime

I just seen on the news this morning the crontroversy of Danielle Radcliff's new stage play where he appears naked. They said he spent 7 hours a day weight training to get buffed for the play he is in. They showed pictures of him topless and man he is very buffed. I think Lij has compotition now .
Anyway there is controversy over him being naked on stage. In my opinion the HP movies and books are going to be ending soon. In fact they are presently filming for the last movie (the last book) right now. My daughter told me. DR doesn't want to be typecasted as HP all his life. Like Leonard Nemoy as Spok or Adam West as Batman or William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk. DR is trying to seperate himself into other things since he is growing up and HP will be ending he is just spreading his wings.
I don't see anything wrong with him naked on the stage except for he is to young to be that bare in front of people like that. Shirtless or even down to his underware but to be totaly nude on stage at his age is not right. But besides that it I have now problem with it.

i don't think that its right for a 'boy' aged 17 to parade onstage naked... i mean im 19 and i would have insecurties about myself let alone at 17 is that even legal? its more like borderline paedofillia at that age i mean really...
