I found this hilarious... of course I'm not a Daniel Radcliffe fan in the least.

Radcliffe, who is currently filming Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, will play Alan Strang, a psychologically disturbed youth who is interviewed by a psychiatrist after he blinds six horses with a metal spike in Peter Shaffer's controversial drama in London next year.
But the role would require Radcliffe to simulate sexual ecstasy while riding naked.
This is a departure for Radcliffe, whose career has been dominated by his part as JK Rowling's teenage wizard. He recently finished filming December Boys, in which he plays one of four orphans hoping to be adopted |

Simulate sexual ecstasy? He has enough trouble 'simulating' mild happiness. (In my opinion, of course)
And that sounds like such a weird play.

Um...well This is interesting news! I admire him for doing this. He must really have a passion for the project. I always admire screen actors who cross over to stage. I love theatre. Daniel is growing up now and although he will always be "Harry Potter" to us, as an actor he needs to spread his wings beyond Hogwarts. You know not everyone agrees with the roles an actor/actress may take but it's part of their maturing.

Am I the only one who is actually proud of Daniel for making such a choice? Come on, he's 17 years old, I'm sure he doesn't want to be Harry Potter for the rest of his life. It's already going to be very difficult for him to find adult roles. Harry is the only role we've seen Daniel in. It's about time he shows that he can do other things as well. If he can pull this off, he will get a lot of respect and recognition, if he doesn't... well than I'm afraid it'll be "bye, bye Daniel".

I admit I had a giggle at the sexual ecstasy thing, but who knows, he may just be able to pull it off, and if he does, he'll have a great career in front of him.
