Urgh . . . I heard about all that, too. I love the regular Harry Potter actors, and I hope none of the rumors are true . It's crazy that they think the Harry Potter actors are growing up too fast. I mean, at the pace they are making the movies now, that's insane. It took a few years to make the second and third movie, but actually, I was reading in an entertainment magazine and the fourth Harry Potter movie is coming out in November. LOL . . . I was surprised since the book is coming out July 16th because there really isn't a lot of space between the book and the movie, and usually they space out when Harry Potter stuff is coming out more.

I understand what you're saying about the time between the film release of GoF and the book release of HBP, but it will have been 2 years between books 5 and 6, and only a year between the 3rd and fourth films, and with the rate at which the actors are maturing, they have to keep a tight schedule on the films.
I really think people need to be realisitic about the problem at hand. I know no one wants the format of the films to change, frankly I find it a little annoying in the constant change of Directors, because let's face it, PoA was a whole different style of filming to PS and CoS, but I understand their reasonings for changing directors, it's a draining and exhausting job.
In PoA Emma, Dan and Rupert were all 15 years old, and in the books their characters were supposed to be 13. That is already a two year gap, but they can get away with it convincingly because they haven't reached adulthood yet. But lets be real here, it has taken Jo Rowling over 2 years to complete book 6, it may take her another two years to complete the 7th book. Film 5 doesn't have a sceduled release date until 2007 I believe, and if book 7 is completed in that same year, then filming will start on the 7th and final movie, but if film 5 is released in 2007, it will be 2008 before film 6 is released, and I expect as logic stands, 2009 before film 7. You can only demand so much of a person, and that to me sounds like one hell of an unsocial schedule, and they are growing up, they may want to experience something new, away from a film set.
I don't want them to change any of the actors, I am still heartbroken over the loss of Richard Harris as Dumbledore but I understand that couldn't be helped, but I also understand that these three young actors, 4 if you include Tom, have other things they want to experience in their lives, before their teenage years have passed them by.

Some spoilers perhaps on this site:
All about GOF
I can't wait to see the film!
I love the Harry Potter Books (ever since I read them a few years ago in german - now I have had the english version box set since November) and Movies!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rupert wants to carry on :
The film after the Goblet of Fire is Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix. They’ve given the directing job to little-known director David Yates. But there has been no announcement from the cast members about whether they will all sign up. However, Rupert Grint who plays Ron Weasley, said: "There's no reason, really, why we couldn't go on. I don't know about the others, but I want to go on."
