I did, Maryd, thanks!
In that last picture, as in the film, you can really tell that the light green is really REALLY Rupert's color! LOL
I was rereading HBP last night and came across something fascinating that I somehow missed before. Did you see the reference to RUPERT in the book? When Harry and Slughorn go down to Hagrid's to bury Aragog, Slughorn mentions that he has had every bottle of mead he owns tasted "after what happened to your friend, Rupert". I found this last night and just cackled at it.
Way to bring the actor's name into the character, Ms. Rowling! Loved it!
Edit: Rupe at the National Film Awards!

Thanks for the links Rach, some beautiful photos there!:)
This extract came from the article about the National Movie Awards which can be found here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7019374.stm
Quote:Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, missed out on best male to his co-star Radcliffe and joked afterwards how he thought the vote had been "fixed".
Despite that he agreed the award had gone to the right man.
"Obviously I didn't expect to win, because I think Dan deserves it more than me," he said. |

You're absolutely right Rach, but wasn't that gracious of him, to say dan deserved it? He's a real gentleman.

Yes, it was gracious of him to say, but then, for me Rupert always comes off as quite the sweet gracious person. In interviews, he always sounds rather soft spoken and mature for his age. That's probably because he's the oldest of so many kids. They tend to grow up faster.

This is cute. It's about Rupert having giggle fits while filming. Apparently, this is a problem for him! LOL
I didn't see this on the dvd, but then I don't have the HD version.

I know! I thought for sure they would have a clip but I guess he's professional enough not to do it during actual filming. It would have been great to see!

Good link Rach!
Watched Thunderpants the other day (it was on TV) and while it certainly wasn't the best thing I've ever seen, it was quite entertaining....And I noticed the green, I wonder if that had anything to do with Rupert? All the cars and clothes and scenery... Thought it was an odd concept for a film in the 1st place, though!

I know. I could have done without that much 10 year old boy humor, but Rupert was ADORABLE.
I think they said the green was to give it a comic book look, if I remember correctly. I watched the director's commentary on the dvd and I THINK that's what they said.

Oh, yeah, I think you said! Thanks.
Did you spot Kiera Knightley? She was one of Sir John Osgoods music students.

Here are a couple of caps of Rupert from the recent "Ace of Cakes" episode in which they made the cake for the premiere of OoP this past summer. There were only a couple of flashes of the guys.

I'll put Dan and the cake elsewhere...not sure where...
Hugs, Rach
