The Today interview was BEYOND STUPID!

Why was he rough on Rupert? I mean he's only an actor not a politician who deserves a grilling?

Poor Rupert, having a tough time...and I prefer quiet people to loud people anyway.

It wasn't really a grilling. It was more making fun of him and his ice cream van (in which he has real ice cream, btw.) Rupert looked uncomfortable and I felt a bit sorry for him.

Now I'm angry! How dare they make fun of the ice-cream van - thats cool, not geeky! Wish I had an ice-cream van! I'm glad Rupert stands out from the crowd rather than just buying a boring old car...

And Rupert actually said that he has ice cream in the freezers in it! I thought that bit was cool. He said when he was a boy, he always wanted to be the ice cream man. That's why he bought the van.
There was ONE interesting thing in the Today interview which lasted about a minute. Rupert said he was a big fan of the books and that it's his opinion that Harry will die in the end.

I just hope Ron doesn't die.
I know what you mean. I hadn't worried about that at all until the other day when I read someone say they thought he might die, just to "make it personal for Harry".
I guess we'll know soon.

I think any death that will be included will be personal for Harry.

I was watching another interview with Rupert yesterday and he was asked about Dan's performance in Equus, especially the nude scene. Rupert said he thought it was very courageous of Dan but that he could NEVER do a nude scene. Poor kid was kind of blushing at the idea. I think he is shyer than the other two, more reserved.
He's very soft spoken.

well that is ok for him to be shy, just cos he is famous and an actor doesn't mean he has to get his kit off for a movie or tv role. You tell them Rupert it's you life after all

I can just see him blushing at it! Good old Rupert, I don't like the idea of my favourite celebs running around naked on a stage anyway.

I don't think Rupert is the type who talks to hear his own voice. He waits until he has something to say. LOL I don't blame him about the nudity thing, either, and I hope he's never forced to make a choice.
I just want him to do more acting. I guess he really hasn't had time to do much other than HP. I looked on IMDB and couldn't find anything other than DL and Thunderpants, which didn't sound like my cup of tea at ALL.

I haven;t seen Thunderpants either.
I expect he'll soon be getting snapped up, people with that kind of talent don't get ignored for long!
